There is a tectonic shift taking place in the realms of spiritual darkness and the prophetic calendar. The plates and the under-girdings of the world as we know it are moving. I wrote last week about the word the Lord gave me about a singular disaster that is about to change everything. https://acalltotheremnant.com/2022/02/26/a-word-from-the-lord-a-singular-disaster/ There is a new world order incubating, and following its birth it will come forth and be the deadliest enemy of the saints. All of the religions of the world will fall in line and form the great whore church.
In the run up to the WW1 we see rising and declining empires. When this happens huge wars typically follow. The 19th and 20th Century saw it all. There was the Napoleonic wars, where Napoleon sweeps across Europe, ultimately destroyed by the Russian winter. The American civil war where 600,000 were killed and slavery abolished. There was the Austrian Hungarian Empire (the old so called Holy Roman Empire) The Prussian and the Russian Empires. The British Empire of course and the Ottoman Turks. Towards the end of the 19th century we see many of these empires compete against each other while some were in decline and others were rising. At the same time the Industrial revolution was in full swing and science and technology were exploding. Automatic weapons of all kinds, and mechanized weapons were invented, and of course chemical warfare. All would be used in the coming war of the empires.
We face such a time once again. The empires are different yet in many ways still the same. We have what is left of the old Soviet Union. The Americans, The West and of course, China. Some are on the rise, well at least one. Most of the rest are in some stage of decline whether militarily, economically and certainly morally. A moral collapse has left them weak and vulnerable. We too in our age have seen a revolution, computers and technology has far outstripped anything that we saw in the last two centuries combined. Weapons of mass destruction and chemical weapons and biological weapons. Information has risen to dizzying heights as one of the greatest of all weapons of all. Yet, just like our ghosts from the past, we will use all the weapons at our disposal as well. It is what we do, we are fallen.
When the smoke clears and the plates stop shifting, this world will have given itself over to a reprobate mind. War shall be openly declared on the saints, not the religious, the saints. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations (Rev 13:7) Only those who walk in the Spirit will survive spiritually intact. They may be martyred, but they will pass through the fire with Jesus. In order to find gold in the earth a massive amount of earth has to be moved. It is referred to as overburden. Heaven and earth shall be moved and the saints will be brought forth. The great sifting and separating. Fires and floods, we shall walk through them all with Christ in us the hope of glory. Stand strong saints, in the power of His might. He is coming soon.

I want to say something about Governor Cuomo resigning. This is a cautionary tale of pride and privilege. When everyone around you is telling you how great you are, beware. The crowd is fickle and their spirits are fleeting. Their praise is nauseating, and everyone who lauded this man ( you know who you are) partake in his shame. Do not raise men up on pedestals, you will live to regret it.
We hear so much about white privilege in this country. It does actually exist and one of its princes resigned today. The actual privileged class, who lecture the rest of us, are the ones who practice this privilege with such ease. The Governor, in this case, is the son of a Governor. Power perpetuates itself through wealth and legacy. It walls itself of from reality by living in higher and higher ivory towers. It only deems to come down from its lofty heights to lecture the masses, thus creating a smokescreen for their actual behavior. They gaslight the rest of us by projecting their own privilege onto white men in general who have no such privilege.
Consider other men like Clinton and Weinstein, who surrounded themselves with women and telling us they did this because they are virtuous and champions of women. All the time they are actually predators who surround themselves with women like an all you can eat buffet. Now, think about the most powerful man who ever walked the earth. He walked and lived among the people. He had no possessions to speak of. No money, no privilege, not even a place to lay His head at night. He did not lecture, He taught. And He taught by example. If He was in the company of the prevailing ruling classes, he typically shredded them. He saw through their pomp and revealed the ugliness that actually lay within their hearts.
His friends were not the rich and the famous and the beautiful people. He surrounded Himself by tradesmen and men who worked with their hands. He was, in fact, the polar opposite of the rich and the privileged. His name is Jesus and His beauty reflected upon man’s ugliness. Look at Jesus and see how actual power conducts itself. It is beautiful and marvelous and a wonder to behold. If you want to laud any man, lift up the one true man, Jesus. You can be sure He will never let you down.

I consider Martin Luther Kings “I have a dream,” speech, one of the greatest speeches ever delivered in the history of Western civilization. It hung on my wall for over a decade. The notion of his children being judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin would have represented the high water mark of actual civilization, any civilization, western or otherwise.
Consider where we are today. Consider what “woke,” thought has given us, where it is taking us. It is taking us back to a place that existed prior to civilization. Tribalism. Tribalism caused death and destruction whether it was in the Highlands of Scotland, the Black forest of Germany or deep in the interior or Africa. The Gauls, the Visigoths, the Romans, the Vandals, you name the tribe. Vlad the impaler, Genghis Khan and the Mongol hordes, they all were identified by their tribe and their enemies? Other tribes.
Think about the genius of what MLK taught. The content of one’s character was to be the distinguishing mark of civilized man. The goodness of a man. The intelligence of a woman. The compassion and the empathy of another soul, these were the marks by which MLK wanted his children, and society, to be judged by. It would cut across color and race, it would identify the humanity of every soul on this earth. He may have been a utopian dreamer, but if you are going to have a dream it might as well be a good one, sure beats the nightmare of the divided society that we are now living in.
Blacks, Whites, Asians. Straight, gay, transgender. Rich and poor. Middle class, working class, elites, oligarchs and moguls. Republicans, Democrats socialists. Far right, far left. White supremist, Antifa, Black lives matters, critical race theorists. All blacks are lazy, all whites are racist, all Asians are greedy. And on and on it goes. Compare all of that with the dream of MLK. What we are seeing is the unfolding of raw unabated power. Power exists and is controlled when the masses are set upon one another. While the masses are manipulated and distracted, the elites are taking over.
The industrial revolution unleashed robber barons who ruled with an iron fist and they crushed all opposition. Now, the greatest nation to rise up out of Western civilization, America, who literally saved what we call civilization from the horror of the Germans and Japanese, has been overtaken by oligarchs. The power of division has been unleashed. Purges are taking place. As a Christian, my place in society is being diminished. And in the end, that will probably be the best thing that ever happened to Christendom.
Barbarism is an ancient force. It is a spirit, a demonic spirit and it’s name is legion. It detests the notions of men like MLK. It demands division for that is the bedrock of hatred and un-forgiveness. It’s ultimate enemy is the genuine Christian. For the true Body of Christ is actually diverse and beautifully united by the Spirit of God. A Body of believers who judge a person by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.
America once saved the world from barbarism, from the Nazi forces who embraced the ultimate divisions. Who would gladly destroy every single Jewish person, every single gypsy, every single gay person, every single mentally handicapped person. Every single person of genuine faith. They worshiped one doctrine and there was no place for deviation. All who disagreed with them were destroyed and purged out of society. First politically, then in the Armed forces, then in the halls of education and all the way down into all of the realms of society. Divide, separate and destroy.
I put it to you, the reader, we are in the midst of such a time. The powers that be, demand that you be separated into whatever group you belong to. And it is they who shall judge you, not by the content of your character, but by who you vote for. What you stand for. The color of your skin. The tenets of your faith. The collective is rising. And if you do not belong to it or bow to it you will be removed from society by it. In the greatest irony of all time they will call it the brotherhood of man. As they use the word diversity as their battle cry the actual war will rage against anyone who dares to be different from them. Uniformity and conformity will be the order of the day under the banner of diversity. It will be the greatest feat of gaslighting ever known to man for it will encircle the earth.

I saw a statement the other day, it went something like this “If you voted for Trump you are a racist.” Think about that for a while. Then I thought about another statement I have heard. “If you voted Democrat then you are a baby murderer.” Now let those two statements sink in. As you are thinking about that, I want to say that I know many Republicans, and they are not racists. I actually dont know any racists because if I did we would not last long together in the same room.
In the last couple of years I have been accused of this because I ackowledged some of the good things President Trump has done. Now what about baby murderers which I would argue is worse that racism. I dont know any. I know many Democrats but the ones I know, while they argue philosophically for the right to abortions, they are on the whole, against the concept of abortion. I dont know any Democrat personally who is an out and out lover of babies being murdered. If I did, we would not last long together in the same room.
So where does that leave me or anyone that finds themselves in the same position as me? Well as I pondered that the other day the Lord brought this Scripture to mind, Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Where are our peacemakers today? As the atmosphere grows ever more toxic how do we as Christians respond. First and foremost we should always be found speaking the truth in love. This does not add to the toxicity.
If the truth is spoken in love then it can only counter the toxic nature of the above statements. If I accuse someone of being a racist, even although I know he is not, simply because I dont like his politics, then I am part of the problem. If I accuse someone of being a baby killer, even although I know they are not, simply because I do not like their politics then I am part of the problem.
Let me share with you my view of genuine Christianity. Consider the forests of the world. The trees, through a process called photosynthesis, convert carbon dioxide into oxygen. So, in its simplest form, the tree takes something poisonous from the atmosphere and converts it into life giving oxygen. Christian, do you do that? Or, do you add to the toxic atmosphere. I had to challenge myself with this. Am I a peacemaker? And by that I do not mean am I doormat, but am I am a child of God who brings light into darkness or do I simply add to the darkness.
This is a challenging thought to me considering the times in which we live. We live in a poisonous age where the air is toxic and the forces behind this toxicity are intent on completely destroying all of us. We may not be able to stop this but we do not have to add to the poison. Lord, let me be a child of the light and let me breath in the toxic air all around me and by a process of the light that has transformed my life, let me breath out life giving peace and joy so that at least for me, I am a counter balance against the hatred. Thank you Jesus.

As an immigrant to America I have many thoughts about what is going on in the country right now. I hear reports, mostly unsubstantiated, of people being abused because they are different in some way. This does not represent the America I know. It hurts for me to think that the foreign press would pick up on these stories and give the world the wrong impression of American people.
I have traveled a lot and met people from all over the world. I can say from my experience that the American people are the most friendliest and welcoming people in the whole world. They have loons on the far right and the far left just like everyone else but a handful of anecdotal stories in no way represents the heart of America and who they are. Your average American is warm and friendly and generous to all people.
I hear a lot about tolerance, yet the irony is that those who constantly speak of tolerance tend to be the most intolerant people you will ever meet. They are only tolerant to those of a similar view. If they meet someone of the opposite view, watch the venom pour forth. This dividing of the people for political purposes is evil. I think of the 49 people killed in a nightclub recently by a terrorist . That story became a gay story when the real story was that 49 Americans were killed.
Why is it always a gay story or a black story or a white story? In a mad effort to be inclusive, the politicians who push such an agenda have managed to make this country more divided that it has been since the time of the civil rights. By focusing on the rights of a tiny minority of people such as gay people and transgenders (perhaps 3.5% combined) the President( President Obama) has driven a huge wedge between the folks. There is no tolerance for anyone who disagrees with their agenda.
The truth is I can completely disagree with the notion that people are born gay and still be tolerant and inclusive. I can think that there should be stronger border control and not be a racist or a xenophobe. Those who do not allow for this thought are truly the folks who are dividing this country. The true reason for Brexit and the recent election results in America is that regular folk are pushing back against the powers that be, who spend an inordinate amount of time and energy on a tiny minority of people to the exclusion of the majority. And it is not just the exclusion, it’s the demonizing of that mostly silent majority. They are considered to be toothless morons because they disagree on issues of morality and economics.
Where will all this lead? I have no idea. I am cynical of people in general. Our younger generation was supposed to the most inclusive generation ever, yet we see by their reaction to the election that this inclusiveness and tolerance is nothing but a thin veneer. Underneath that thin veneer lies the ugliness that has haunted mankind from the beginning. They hate people they do not know or understand and would like to destroy them.
Outside of Jesus Christ, people, no matter what generation they belong to are as flawed as they have ever been. We live in a modern world surrounded by technology and comfort in the West. Yet we still hate as we have always hated We still divide along lines, does not really matter what the lines are, all that matters to the enemy of our souls is that we do divide and hate one another and seek to destroy one another. The utopian dreamers and liberal thinkers are just as full of hate for those they do not understand and with those with whom they disagree with.
As a young man growing up in poverty in a housing scheme in Scotland, I hated the middle class and the upper class. The region that I came from was known as the “Red Clyde.” The shipyards that dominated my town and many towns in Scotland were full of socialists and Communists. This was my heart as a young man. Come the revolution I would have manned the guillotine and gladly pulled the lever, over and over again. I longed for the revolution.
I finally got my revolution. I personally met the most radical revolutionary ever to walk the earth. I met Jesus. He upended everything I thought I knew. He invaded my very DNA. He took all of the hate and all of the jealousies and all of the insecurities I had and he dismantled them piece by piece often with me kicking and screaming. I learned not to judge ” groups,” but to encounter individuals. I encountered true love and the enormous power of it. I learned that it rested in truth, that truth and love were one and the same thing and If I could learn to speak the truth in love then I could become an agent of incredible change, one person at a time.
And so my appeal today is that we saints on earth be radical lovers who speak the truth without fear or favor, in love. If God so loved the world, and He did, that He sent His only Son to die for that World then we as saints must be radical lovers of every man and every woman no matter their background or how they perceive themselves. The greatest dividers are always those who seek power, no matter if they are wonderful orators or speak brutally and bluntly.
In this time of disunity and hatred and division, let the true lovers of all men and all women step forward as representatives and ambassadors of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Love people as you find them saints and speak the truth in love. The true revolt in men and women is the revolt against the schemes of the enemy. Let us be revolutionaries for the cause of Christ. No man or woman can fill the void that is in the hearts of those on the left or on the right, only in the radical center of God’s will is there wholeness and fullness of Joy as opposed to the schemes of men which is full of bitterness and division.

Are we Unleashing a Monster?-Donald Trump
I would argue that this current political cycle is a perfect example of form triumphing over substance. The rise of Donald Trump is the rise of form over substance. He merely taps into the mood of the people and says what he needs to say to get elected. He is an amalgam of our personality cult culture and business and now politics. This is the end result of a long process that could only truly find its successful conclusion with the rise of media and especially social media.
Now there have been notable people from the previous century that gives us clues as to how we got here. If we look at Hitler we see a man who could never have arisen without the aid of radio and the camera and of course circumstances. The circumstances are obvious. There was social unrest caused by a financial meltdown. This of course was severely aggravated with the rise of socialism and communism throughout the world. Given these fears and others, the people turned to someone who promised to make Germany great again. Someone who would face the problems of the day head on. Now they knew that he held extreme views but their fears for their present situation overcame any misgivings they may have had for him. The basic premise throughout the ruling classes was ” he would at least sort out the Communists,” which of course he did yet they had unleashed a monster.
Along with all those reasons, Hitler could still not have come to power without the aid of media. Radio of course was the social media of the day. People gathered in their living rooms and listened to his captivating speeches. They also went to the movies and saw such productions as ” Triumph of the Will.” A movie about the rise of the Nazi party that combined music and clippings of speeches and rallies. It is purported to be the greatest propaganda movie of all time and truly shows the power of media, form over substance, to move a whole nation. And of course that power has only increased exponentially over the last 80 years.
The first ever televised interview of two politicians debating was in 1960 and was between Nixon and Kennedy. Unbeknownst to Nixon, Kennedy had the heat turned way up in the studio because he knew Nixon had a tendency to sweat. When they both sat down to debate, Kennedy looked cool and collected while Nixon sweated badly. This had a great effect on the viewing audience. No matter what one of these men you liked, it could easily be argued that Kennedy knew the value of form over substance, it was less about what they were saying and more about how they were coming across to the audience.

As I watched an Iraqi Christian man on CNN plead to be allowed to come to the USA, it moved me deeply. These people, surrounded on every side by murderous thugs, have little to no future in Iraq. The man and perhaps 50-100,000 people need sanctuary, but it is for sure no ” Christian” country will take them. God have mercy on us who claim to be Christian and be Christian nations. In 1939 the MS St Louis , a German ship, sailed from Hamburg with 937 Jewish people on board. They were fleeing the horrors of the hellish Nazis. They arrived at Cuba and were refused entry. They moved on to Florida where again they were refused entry. The German captain, a non-Jewish German who was later named by Israel as a righteous gentile, even attempted to ground the ship of the coast of Florida so that the Jewish people could escape. He was prevented by doing so by two American Coast Guard vessels and a warning shot was fired across her bow. Canada was the next to reject this ” Voyage of the Damned.” ( the name of a movie later made about this sorry episode) Finally the ship was forced to return to Europe, where Britain took 288 and the rest were taken by Belgium , Holland and France. It was later estimated that somewhere around 50% of these poor souls ended up being killed in Concentration camps after Germany invaded most of Europe. When poor souls seek refuge from tyranny and violence, whether it be poor South American kids or Iraqi Christians, we ” Christian,’ nations should seriously consider what God would have us do. Perhaps we Christians in the West will one day need sanctuary? God forbid that our own children faced death and starvation and no one wanted to take us in.

Brothers and sisters. There continues to be an anti government movement within Christendom. At the center of this hatred for government seems to be taxes and the Federal government and Obama-care. Now, can we say we are standing on solid ground if we are caught up with land disputes and cattle grazing rights and other such worldly things?
Believers down through the centuries, have paid taxes to any manner of evil governments, starting with Rome. When the Romans extracted taxes from the vanquished nations and from property owners, do you imagine that the money was used for Godly enterprises? Nero himself used to dip Christians in oil and then set them ablaze to light up his parties at night. Should Christians and Jewish people have paid taxes to Nero’s government?
At the very heart of the conception of the American experience lies rebellion and taxes. Nothing has changed, it is still the same. The Word says that God is not mocked, what a man or a nation sows, it surely reaps.Yet in this vast nation there are millions of genuine saints and I thank the Lord that there is, for it is the light of the western world. Ravenhill suggested that a mere 5-7% of this nation was actually Christians. I think it may be more like 20%. Yet even if it is only 20%, that is almost 60 million genuine saints. God is calling His saints, His remnant saints to be readied for the final days of the ages. A great darkness draws near and the Satan himself is on the verge of unleashing evil on a scale never seen before or even imagined.

Hi saints, I have been watching the whole gun debate very closely, not so much for the details, for there is nothing new under the sun and we have been around this mountain before. No, my interest lies in the attitudes of Christians to all of these issues, whether it is guns, taxes, politics, rights and so on. Let me just state for the record where I stand on rights and freedoms, at least the freedom that I have through Christ ( which is all that counts, believe me brothers and sisters)
There are powerful forces that are manipulating the most basic of instincts, whether it is on the ” left,” or on the ” right.” Men and woman of God must only be driven by the Holy Spirit and not the cultural winds that blow nor the lobbyists who have financial or political interests in stirring up the crowd. One side is being pitted against the other. Christians should not be on one side or the other, we should be a counter-culture, not a sub-culture. God transcends cultures and nations. The Body of Christ is multi-national, from every tribe and every tongue and every nation. Our identity should be found in God alone and the Body. Let nations and kingdoms ( ethnos, where we get our English word ethnic) fight and war with each other, but it’s not our war. We are the sons and daughters of peace and we represent another kingdom to the peoples of the world.

All the things that many American Christians hold dear have been severely challenged by the re-election of President Obama. I have not a single doubt that the Lord is in charge of it all and is at work. There are many idols in the American church and they are being challenged every day. Can I tell you that I full expect to see the Republican party throw off even the pretense of ” values,” and ” faith.” Now why would I think that is a good thing? Well, because if the Lord hates anything, we know He hates hypocrisy. This election has cut like a knife to the heart of serial hypocrisy. Just look at the Billy Graham organisation pulling down their literature on Mormonism for political expediency. This is perhaps one of the final nails in the coffin of Evangelicalism. And so my own answer to the question posed by so many today ” where do we go from here?” is to do what we should be doing all the time, following hard after Jesus. He must be our grand obsession, not taxes. He must be our all in all, not the result of the next election. He must have the pre-eminence in our lives, not our lives itself and how well we can do in this world. He must be Lord and Savior, not some president or worldly leader.

I write this as a conservative evangelical Christian. I am anti-abortion

that the Tea Party is one of the most misguided and misleading
movements in America – especially since it claims to be so “Christian”.

It will be interesting to see how the Evangelical community responds to Governor Romney. The vast majority of Evangelicals consider Mormonism to be a cult and heretical. Will they vote for a heretic? Will they vote for , not only a cult member, but one of high standing within the cult? It seems clear to me that God is creating a set of circumstances to expose what truly lies in the hearts of those who call themselves Christians. For decades now the notion has been put forward, as a reason for being involved in politics, that we need more Christian men on Capitol Hill, we need a Christian man in the White-house. Too often, and for too long, American “Christianity” has been a political agenda in search of a gospel useful enough to accommodate it. There is a liberation theology of the Left, and there is also a liberation theology of the Right, and both are at heart mammon worship. The liberation theology of the Left often wants a Barabbas, to fight off the oppressors as though our ultimate problem were the reign of Rome and not the reign of death. The liberation theology of the Right wants a golden calf, to represent religion and to remind us of all the economic security we had in Egypt. Both want a Caesar or a Pharaoh, not a Messiah.
God, the Gospel, and Glenn Beck.

This post is the vision that the previous post made reference too. I would urge you to read this with care and lift up your eyes and see where we are right now. The distractions that we are in the middle of right now are part and parcel of a greater plan by the ant-christ to get the believers eyes of Jesus and onto the things of the world. What war do you want to be a part of. I have added Scriptures to the end of this post to help you undersatnd what God says about these matters. Remember, this world changes constantly, but the Word of God never changes. No matter how pressing the issues seem to be, trust in God and His unchanging Word. God knew all of the circumstances down through the ages when He wrote His word, therefore we must follow the word of God . It may not always make sense but this narrow way finds only a few, be obedient to Him and do not be distracted by the “pressing issues ,” of the day and you will stay on the narrow path that leads right through the mountains and deep, deep valleys, but it also leads us through the harvest fields and home to Jesus. Years ago a friend of mine, Robert Holmes, saw a vision of Christians
leaving the Harvest field to go and join in with a “Civil War”. They were
leaving their primary mission (the gospel) to go and make war against their
own countrymen. What does it mean and why would they do such a thing? -This
was unclear.

The world will indeed embrace nuclear dis-armament, as counterintuitive as that may seem right now. It will probably be accelerated by a nuclear strike , albeit it a relatively small one(still tens of thousands of casualties) by terrorists. There will be a coalition of the willing, led by America to have an outright ban on these weapons. Read the rest of this entry »

I wrote the piece below last February. Perhaps this election has taught the American Christians something, I hope so. When all is said and done, this world needs hope. In a world of ever increasing darkness, there is a more desparate need for light. Like a moth to a flame, people will reach out in time of need. And if the Church, the Royal Priesthood ,is not shining the light of Christ, which represents true hope, a blessed hope, then the world will look to itself to find it. Unfortunately, no man can give the world or America what it needs, unless it is the Man, Christ Jesus. So when the glory of the election victory fades for the majority, and as the coming years progress and the world goes deepr into trouble, let us pray that the Body of Christ is ready to reach out and offer the world true hope, a hope that conquers fear, a hope that triumphs despite adversity, a hope that replaces mundane living and merely exsiting with a joy and a purpose in life. This is all to be found in our Lord Jesus. We as Christians must live that before we can share that. This is an historic day for the country of America, whatever side you voted for. Only in this land could Barack Obama do what he just did. A balm has just been placed on a 400 year old wound. Long may the healing continue.

When I saw President Bush stand there and speak yesterday and this morning, I have never seen such a humiliated person. To have to announce policy’s in front of the whole world, which diametrically oppose everything he stands for, is the severest of judgments. Literally having to eat your words. We should fear the judgments of the Lord, He is to be feared.

You have gathered here today in defiance of darkness and tyranny. You have come here to fight as free men and free men you are, for it is I that gave you that very freedom. So you see with your eyes that you are few and they are many, you see that you are vastly outnumbered. Will you fight today? Read the rest of this entry »

There is a time for shouting and praising God, but if we are ignoring the knocking, then we must stop shouting. If our lives are not reflecting the Glory of God, if we are not becoming like His Son, daily, then all of our shouting and praising God will just be so much noise. How tragic for the church of the living God if, when He looks down, He does not see praise but just a group of people making a noise.” Read the rest of this entry »
