Nuclear Dis-armament will lead to Armageddon

The world will indeed embrace nuclear dis-armament, as counterintuitive as that may seem right now. It will probably be accelerated by a nuclear strike , albeit it a relatively small one(still tens of thousands of casualties) by terrorists. There will be a coalition of the willing, led by America to have an outright ban on these weapons.
Nuclear Dis-armament will lead to Armageddon
Just before the G-20 summit, in one of his many speeches, President Obama talked about a nuclear free world. This, in my opinion, although mostly ignored by the media, was one of his most important statements. Here is my scenario, based , I believe, on a knowledge of geo-politics and Scripture. The world will indeed embrace nuclear dis-armament, as counterintuitive as that may seem right now. It will probably be accelerated by a nuclear strike , albeit it a relatively small one(still tens of thousands of casualties) by terrorists. There will be a coalition of the willing, led by America to have an outright ban on these weapons. Remember, America has way more Nuclear weapons that any other country in the world. No other country could ever hope to catch up with America’s numbers. There will be , eventually, one hold-out and that country will be Israel. This will fuel the hatred of an already anti-semitical world. All aid to Israel will be cut of, and eventually a coalition of “all nations,” will come against Israel.
Many may not have seen Queen Noor of Jordon on the news programs this morning. She was there to promote “Global zero.” Here is an extract from the “Global Zero” web site …………………………………………..

They also released the results of their recently commissioned poll of 21 countries that shows overwhelming worldwide public support for an international agreement to eliminate all nuclear weapons.”

They already have hundreds of signatures from powerful people from all around the world, you can find a full list of these people here http://www.globalzero.org/full-list-signatories I am not writing this post to alarm anyone or encourage any political activity. I truly believe that this is how God’s plan will unfold. I would just like my brothers and sisters to be aware of the times in which we live. The end is surely coming, and perhaps even in the generation that we live. If your loyalties are to the country in which you live, you will find yourself having loyalties with a nation that will come against Israel. When the Scriptures teach us that “all nations,” will come against Israel, that is exactly what it means. Our total loyalties should be to Jesus and Him alone. Only that foundation will see us through. Our only security lies with Him.

Hi Frank. It’s astonishing to see the speed at which the end times senario is coming together. You are completely right when it comes to one clinging to a national identity. We must understand that our citizenship is in heaven and we are not of this world. All of this will shortly be no more, but we have an everlasting habitation with the Lord Jesus. As the old song states, “Take the world, but give me Jesus.”

Yes brother Timbob, you can have the whole world but give me Jesus. You can lose everything in this world,your job, your health, your wealth, your loved one’s , your earthly freedom and so on. Yet, if you have Jesus, He cannot be taken away from you. The things of this world are finite, yet in Jesus we have an infinite glorious future……brother Frank

Is this your informed opinion, or is this more of a prophetic word? If the former, you certainly have a point; if the latter, it seems possible you have “heard” correctly. It’s the first time I’ve heard this particular scenario proposed, but then I don’t really get around all that much. Thanks for posting this. As for national loyalties–with all that’s been going on in this country for the last few decades (let alone the past several months), I’ve long ago lost the patriotic fervor. I’m so grateful to be a citizen of His Kingdom. 🙂
