God is sanctifying His Remnant

Posted by appolus on December 26, 2010

Hi Saints, below is a dream a Canadian brother (in blue text) had. Please read and know that the Lord, I believe, is intensifying His call on His people. There is a prepartion taking place and it is, to say the least, intense. Trials and tribulations are increasing in saints around the world. There is a battle that is taking place in the unseen. When Daniel mourns in chapter 10, it is believed that he is mourning the indifference of his people and the fact that even although they were in a position to return home from their captivity, so many had decided to remain in their captive state.  So much of Christendom is now living  a Babylonian lifestyle, and yet there is yet opportunity to retun from exile. The time is short, but the opportunity still remains. Dan 10:12 Then he said to me, Do not fear, Daniel; for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to chasten yourself before your God, your words were heard. And I have come for your words.  God hears the prayers and the cries of His mourning Remnant, even now as we pray and cry out there is an unseen battle taking place. We already know that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principlaities and powers, against the worlds rulers of darkness of this age and against spiritual wickedness in high places. The battle is taking place even as we speak, this is the time that was revealed to Daniel. Very soon the battle will break onto the physical plane and this is why we are being prepared with such intensity, to prepare us for what shortly lies ahead.

God is training His Remnant in these last days!

Posted by appolus on December 21, 2010

“In these last days, God is doing a work that will impact the world. He is training a holy remnant that will be solely dedicated to God and His work during these last days. God is raising up a people who are committed to him and his cause who are a holy remnant, and who are steadfast and sure of their God. Eli was judged soft on sin and allowed wickedness in the tabernacle at Shiloh; even his own sons. Today, the church world is a laughing stock because of wickedness in the house of God, there is no power or spiritual authority, no presence of the Lord in many churches. But there is an unseen remnant of people, who would surprise you, because they are not prominent, or well known, but they are shut in with and hearing a word from God. And the word is prepare, for judgment is coming”  Read the rest of this entry »

The prodigal sons and those who love them!

Posted by appolus on December 4, 2010

Perhaps today you are feeling the weight and the burden of a lost loved one? Can I encourage you to stay in the light, stay near to Him. This light that is in you is the only hope for those that are lost to the darkness of this world. Let your love be a city set upon a hill. Let that light of hope and glory be a beacon to all who are lost. For if the light that is in you goes out, what hope for the lost?

Do you know the presence of God?

Posted by appolus on November 3, 2010

The Most High does not dwell in Temples made with hands.” God was not behind the veil, hidden and inaccessible to man, look!!!!!! The presence of God was hung high upon a tree , humbled and naked for all the world to see. The presence of God is Jesus and Jesus is the door to His people and the door leads directly into the holy of holy’s, Gods own throne-room where Jesus stands at the right hand of the Father. A Desperate Hour Calls for a Radical response!

Posted by appolus on October 27, 2010

Hi brother and sisters. Here is a message that was delivered last week at a revival conference in Dallas. This is a message to the nations. Every pastor should listen to this message and join in this cry. Please pass this message along. It will pierce your heart. http://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=20654&commentView=itemComments

The brother that delivered this message is one of my best friends and is a passionate man of God. We will be having a series of meetings next month in Oklahoma, in a small town called Barnsdall. If the Lord leads, please join us there. The meetings will run from the 14th to the 19th. We will start the day with a prayer meeting and then go out onto the streets. We will have a service every evening in the old cinema downtown Barnsdall starting at 7pm.

The Remnant! Who are they? Are you part of the Remnant?

Posted by appolus on September 22, 2010

Do you know what is wrong with us as a Church today? We are taking ourselves for granted. We are assuming that which may not be true at all; that which is founded upon wishful hoping and not upon sound Biblical experience in many cases. We have not been disturbed enough. We have not allowed God to plough furrows on our backs. We have not dared to go before God and have the examination made. We are afraid of what God will find , and we would rather wait. Therefore we have waited and settled down. There has always been a small remnant and they have been in the midst of all the rest. A million might wish with their lips and worship with their lips, but only a small fragment truly worship in their hearts in a way that honors and pleases God. We do not need to imagine it as an indication of vast spiritual or high degree of holiness when we see a church door open and multitudes spew out on the sidewalk. Follow them home. Follow them a half a block and see how they live. That is the way to tell. “Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them'( Matt 7:20)

Can you say ” I have no King but Jesus?”

Posted by appolus on September 11, 2010

When your faced with a God that does not serve you. When you are robbed, beaten, cheated, taken advantage of. When someone close to you dies, a loved one is murdered, will you turn your back on God?Jesus did not stack up against Barabbas. Barabbas was a rebel against Rome. Jesus was silent on Rome. The crowd methodically rejected a captive and scourged Jesus until finally it came to the truth of the matter and it proclaimed ” We have no king but Caesar.” Shocking, isn’t it? But what about you? Can you truly say ” I have no King but Jesus?” Or are you too looking for someone to sort out the world?” Read the rest of this entry »

The rise of the remnant and the fall of the church!

Posted by appolus on September 9, 2010

There is a great multitude today who are desperately hungry and thirsty. All over the world the people dwell in great darkness and the darkness increases every day. Hell has opened its vaults and is beginning to spew out evil with increasing speed and urgency because it knows its time is short. There is desperate darkness coming and it is coming at us with alarming speed. Yet, as in the time of Noah, the world is ignorant of the impending disaster about to befall it. Like the children of Israel when Jesus says ” O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to her, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!”

Out with the rabbits and in with the Remnant! Revival in a Barn?

Posted by appolus on September 6, 2010

Last Sunday a journalist from a local paper came along to do a story about these people in the barn. Turns out she was an atheist. She ended up spending several hours. She seemed to enjoy it and told them that those three hours seemed like one. The story that she ended up writing, which was on the front page, ended up being a favorable one. It was entitled ” Humble beginnings.” Read the rest of this entry »

God, the Gospel, and Glenn Beck

Posted by appolus on August 31, 2010

Too often, and for too long, American “Christianity” has been a political agenda in search of a gospel useful enough to accommodate it. There is a liberation theology of the Left, and there is also a liberation theology of the Right, and both are at heart mammon worship. The liberation theology of the Left often wants a Barabbas, to fight off the oppressors as though our ultimate problem were the reign of Rome and not the reign of death. The liberation theology of the Right wants a golden calf, to represent religion and to remind us of all the economic security we had in Egypt. Both want a Caesar or a Pharaoh, not a Messiah.

God, the Gospel, and Glenn Beck.

Shields of Gold or shields of Brass?

Posted by appolus on August 5, 2010

Where is the treasures of your peace brothers and sisters? Do you walk with a singleness of mind and a purity of heart, a heart that only ever seeks after the Lord our God? Do we shine and glow in the presence of God like the pure gold Solomon’s shields? Or , if men were to look a little closer at us would they discover that it is not gold at all but merely Rehoboam’s brass, a pale and worthless imitation?

Is there a desperate cry in the land?

Posted by appolus on August 1, 2010

There is coming a time, and we may be there already, when God is calling His people, His remnant people, who have experienced the presence of God, to rise up and testify to it. To testify of what they know of Him. Of how they come into the presence of a Holy and majestic God, of how it ruins them and changes them, of how they tremble before the throne of the almighty God. This is what the people are starved of, this is what they are dying of thirst from. There is a famine of the Word of God in the land, not the Word preached, but the Word preached with the power and the presence of God. The crisis of the age is a lack of God’s empowering presence in our assemblies.

The Priesthood

Posted by appolus on July 22, 2010

There is a time coming soon when the “temple will be restored,” so to speak. God will be elevated amongst His people above the din of the world and beyond our circumstances. He, and He alone is our exceeding great reward.” “This is eternal life, that you may know Him.” He shall be known to a people who draw near to Him in the beauty of His holiness. In His presence we will know the height and the depth and the fullness of Him and we will be ruined for all of this world and we will never be the same, we will never be the same and then we will indeed be a sweet savour to our Lord and to our God. No longer a heart of stone!

Posted by appolus on July 9, 2010

He is my Saviour, my Lord, my everything, and He has given me a heart that is alive!!! And so, as one who arose from the dead out of sins and corruption, as one who had been crushed and broken, what can I say about this new heart? Its life itself. Its the wellspring of all my hope and joy and love. Its the throne of my precious Saviour Read the rest of this entry »

True Freedom

Posted by appolus on July 2, 2010

You see, true freedom has nothing to do with anything political. Many Christians are confused with the notions of freedom and have their political freedoms all mixed up with the freedom that was gained for them on Calvary. Jesus is our victory, in Jesus our Lord we find true Freedom. The Scriptures say that He who the Son sets free is free indeed. This majestic freedom rises high above all earthly gained freedom. If men could attain freedom by their own efforts then Christ died in vain. Read the rest of this entry »

Walking in the Spirit

Posted by appolus on June 29, 2010

As I do all these things and a peace that is beyond understanding fills me completely, then I know that I am walking in the Spirit of the Living God and my heart literally burns within my chest. And as it burns, it gives off a light that men can see and they are drawn to Christ in me. When this happens, I know that I am walking in the Spirit!

An Anthem to Freedom

Posted by appolus on June 24, 2010

Were you there when Jesus bled
Before the cross, in sins were dead
By your hand in Christ were led
On to victory

Now’s the day and now’s the hour
Stand with Christ and stand in power
He’s our Rock and strong High Tower
We’re free from slavery

So will you come and fight the fight
March in the day and not the night
We will send them all to flight
This will be our day

Free men march and free men die
And all proclaim our God on high
His glory fills the earth and sky
Come Lord soon we pray

In glorious majesty He reigns
He’s broken all our wretched chains
On Calvary He took  our pains
And death has lost its sting

Now Jesus come and take your place
We lift our eyes, we see your face
Our enemies we now give chase
We serve our glorious King

No longer slaves and dead in sin
New life arises from within
We sing to you a glorious hymn
Of joy and victory

We have arisen from the dead
And follow you who died and bled
And rose victoriously and said
No more slavery

Come now my children, come and see
You once were chained but now are free
Free to live and reign with me
Its time to wield the sword

Its the final day, the final hour
Rain down thy presence, a glorious shower
Its not by might nor any power
But by My Spirit says the Lord

Singing to the storm!

Posted by appolus on June 11, 2010

Praise Him today brothers and sisters, no matter what your circumstance, praise Him today. And the light will break through into the darkness of your situation as you lift Him up above your circumstances. He is high and lifted up and the train of His robe fills the temple. He is glorious in holiness. He inhabits the praises of His people. He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies , and His banner over us is love. Read the rest of this entry »
