Until the morning star rises

Posted by appolus on December 18, 2017

The victory for the saint comes in the depths of the dungeons. Those who will prevail are those who shall endure and overcome. If we love God more than life then we shall endure until the end and not just endure but cry glory even in the midst of gross darkness. The enemy shall never silence the praises of His people even though he would try to kill every one of us to shut the mouth of Jesus. The enemy killed every child of a certain age in a great slaughter and laments were heard all over the land, but, hark the Herald angels sing, glory to the new-born King, above the weeping of grieving mothers the cries of our deliverer was heard. The enemy failed and Christ prevailed and as it was then so it ever shall be until that day dawns and the morning star rises in your heart.

I am catching up on emails today … this post spoke strongly to me. I had emailed you about my husband straying and how he choice to leave me and the family for the other woman. You encouraged me. It has been the beginning of a long journey but the journey is with Christ. While reading Jesus’s Word to the church of Philadelphia I paused to reflect on “These are the words of the One who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens, no one will shut; and what He shuts, no one will open.” Very little is said about Christ ‘shutting’ a door … only opening. My husband will not repent nor seek godly counsel in this I see that God has shut this door and is opening another.
It is amazing to see how Jesus has provided for me. I know I discovered this at God’s perfect timing … it was as if HE said enough is enough. It has hurt but He is helping me carry my cross. SO much has happened that shows GOD’s provision: I am ‘trading’ houses with a young couple close to my son with a little extra money to boot. A man and his wife are cleaning out the barn and other shed’s trash from my husbands auction addiction without charge because he said, ” Christ told him to take care of me.” I have had neighbors who rally around me … strangers offering me godly encouragement when I need it most. I know this is personal but I just had to praise the LORD for His grace while I am in this dungeon …. He is sustaining me and I trust Him. I am learning to say “not my will but your will be done.” I am not alone …. even though I am physically alone.

Hi Rebecca, just like Joseph when he was imprisoned, even there he was blessed because the Lord’s hand was upon Him. I praise God, from whom all blessings flow and from whom all good things come from for your help in this time of need. The further along the path we go, the more we realize that we are learning about His faithfulness. Our faith is increased only as we understand and love God in the bad times as well as the good. Unlike unfaithful men, God is faithful to the promises He has made to us. He will never leave is nor forsake us and you are living proof of that sister…………bro Frank
