What is a culture of co-existence? In countries throughout the world, for long periods of time, different cultures co-existed. Then what seems to happen is that circumstances change. A catalyst or catalystic events unfold and tensions rise. Often times in a society the minority have ruled the majority and they always seem to make the same mistakes. Greed, lust, desire for power, envy the very essence of a wicked heart begins its journey until it consumes the hosts. The Bible says “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?”
If this is true, and I believe that it is, then every society, as it progresses, has already begun the process of its own destruction. The only measurement of its inner ferocity and appetites for wickedness is time. As that wickedness increases and accelerates then the cultures within the dying country or empire begin to coalesce. Hemogany is the order of the day and people gather together with those whom they identify with. It does not have to be color. Class distinction has caused more deaths in the world throughout history that racism has. Man will find a way to hate his fellow-man.
The difference today that separates us from all of history is that the culture of co-existence, where different groups of people can live together with basic good will and harmony, is in free fall all over the world at the same time. On the largest scale it is globalists against nationalists. Brexit and the last election in America are great examples of the struggles between globalists and, for lack of a better word, nationalists. Nationalists will not prevail. The world is heading towards oneness. The globalists will use issues such as Climate change and monetary polices to move forward their agenda.
How does any of this effect Christians? Well we too shall gather together as cataclysmic events unfold. The line and walls that have separated us for multiple generations will crumble and fall. I celebrate that aspect of it. Yet there is another aspect of it. A one world order will require a one world religion. Constantine declared Christianity to be the official religion of Rome. In order to have one system to order the world, and it will be about order, that will require a one world religion. Ecumenicalism will finally have its day. It will not only bring about a unity among the Christian denominations of the world, it will incorporate all the major religions of the world.
Now, since order will be the order of the day then there can be no room or quarter for dissenting voices. Because the world will come to the brink of an all out war and complete financial collapse then order above all else will be the mantra. Order and the brotherhood of man, although it is doubtful that phrase could every be used in a politically correct world. It is incumbent upon the saints to know the truth and stand upon it because the world has sown the wind and shall soon reap the whirlwind. It will not be the whirlwind of chaos and anarchy, it will be the whirlwind of oneness. The construction of the Tower of Babel will once again be taken up and the cry of the world shall be “peace, peace,” but there shall be no peace. Out that darkness the saints cries will be heard around the world. Their light will shine and cause great distress to those who shall be living in shades of grey. How will they drown out the cries? How will they put out the light?
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.(Isa 63:9)
Think about that brothers and sisters. In all of their afflictions He was afflicted. Don’t let anyone tell you the Lord does not feel the pain of His people. It is for this very reason that He sent His Son, His great love for His people. He carries us on angels wings, He carries us in everything. He carries us when we are low, He carries us when there seems to be nowhere to go. In all of our afflictions He saves us, He redeems us and he bares us up lest we dash ourselves on the rocks of life and circumstances.
But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.(Isa 63:10)
Brothers and sisters, this is a scary verse that follows verse 9. Can you say that you are not in rebellion against Him? Have you checked your spirit lest you have been deceived by your heart? Is it possible that you have vexed the Spirit of God? What is the way back if you find yourself in that situation today?
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: (Psa 51:3-4)Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit ;For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Let all rebellion fall away, let us not vex the Holy Spirit of God. Let us move in humility and a contrite heart and remember that in our afflictions he is afflicted. Parents know well the pain of watching an adult child go down a wrong path. It is a unique agony. God the Father knows well the pain of His people, He sees their afflictions and it causes Him pain. Yet, He rejoices at the return of His child to Him, remember the reaction of the Prodigal Father. Run back to Him this day if you have wandered away. Trust Him today if you are afflicted, He knows and He is with you.
To the father that I never had
Long ago when I was just a lad
A word of comfort, perhaps a tender touch
Would that have really been too much?
You could have stopped the falling rain
Falling on a heart so full of pain
But you were the dark cloud up above
And the rain that fell was devoid of any love
To rob a child of what he really needs
Is the sowing of some future loveless seeds
That will fail to grow and die there in the ground
A darkened place where there’s no joyful sound
Can someone give what they have never known?
Can a field give fruit that itself was never sown?
Can the loveless child find life among the dead?
Or shall he ever walk the barren road instead?
Where can the loveless man find what he needs
Who will plough these hearts and plant these seeds
The Father who from above sent down His Son
Will fall like rain and now the work’s begun
This seed alone is the answer from above
Tis Christ the King, it is the Father’s love
To every broken heart and orphaned child
That was lost and all alone and growing wild
You have a heavenly Father, whose arms are opened wide
He plants His precious seed and He plants it deep inside
And the heart that once was hard and could not feel
Begins to beat anew as it begins to heal.
Do you face very difficult circumstances today? Are there many trials in your life, too many seemingly to bear? Can you imagine all of those situations and not having God in your life? Without God, there are multiple circumstances, like waves, that can swamp us, overwhelm us, drown us. How many of us know people who are simply overwhelmed by the circumstances of life and who have given up and are given over to drugs, legal or otherwise, and alcohol and even just break downs?
So often I have felt overwhelmed by the circumstances in my life and often times felt that the only thing I had to be grateful for was my salvation and my very sanity. And in that gratefulness was the seeds of overcoming, the genesis of enduring. For where there is a spark of thankfulness there is light. And that spark, that ember is waiting. It will not go out. How do I know this? For He promised us He would not leave us as orphans, He promised us He would not leave or forsake us. He promised. My life, your life the Body is built on nothing less than what He said He would do. He will do it. He will keep us. We are often the only light in our families. Imagine our families without any light at all, not even a spark from heaven. What darkness that would be.
So I encourage you this day. Fall back into His arms and hold on to what you know. He knows. He sees. He has not forgotten. Even although we have an enemy who would scream that in our ears, it is a lie. He sees the afflictions of His people. And even if they find themselves with their backs to the sea, surrounded on every side by mountains and an enemy bearing down on them, if He has to, He will even make a way where there seems to be no way. He will open up the seas, He will create valleys in the mountains which will be passages through impenetrable trials and circumstances. He will do these things. For He is the God who set the stars in the heavens and knows them all by name.
He laid the foundations of the earth. He said to the birds of the air “fly,” and there they fly. He said to the darkness, ” let there be light,” and there is light. He said to the deep ” be full of every kind of life,” and the seas with all of their power reflect His glory. He saw man without any life at all and He breathed His very life into them. And in Him was life and that life is the light of men and this light shines into the darkness of every circumstance and every situation and confounds the darkness. We are, the Body of Christ, the light of the world for in us dwells the light of Go
One day the Lord will rend the heavens and His glory will flow down the mountains and fill every valley with His majesty. The seas will flee at His presence, the mountains will humbly bow and say β Glory , glory to the risen King.β The sun will turn its face away in shame for it is outshone by the brilliance of His illumination. The moon and the stars will cry out β Holy, Holy is He who was and is and forever shall be.β And every voice from every tongue will say βJesus,β and acknowledge the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And the beasts of the earth will fall down and cover their faces and then the lion will rise up and approach the lamb and they will lay down together. And every knee shall bow in every tribe and in every nation and even the hordes of hell will fall silent as He approaches. The earth itself will grow silent and shall be still and then a glorious noise will begin to rise and will fill the earth, it will fill the sea it will fill the night skies it will fill the whole universe and all that will be heard will be the choirs of angels, that heavenly choir and the glory of God will not only cover the earth but will fill up everything that there is or has ever been. Gods saints, His children will rise on this glorious symphony, they will arise in the updrafts of His glory and majesty and it will carry them into the heart of God. And those who rejected this magnificent glory will fall and their cries will be heard as they fall into the depths of darkness, for what eyes can ever see light again that were not sanctified eyes. And He will reign forever.
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. (Isa 60:1-2)
In Exodus 10:22-23 we see that there was a thick or gross darkness that covered the land for three days as a judgment on the land of Egypt. It was so dark that men could not see each other “but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.” Even in the midst of gross darkness that covered the land, all of God’s children had light in their dwellings. God caused their dwelling place to be full of light. In verse 17 God said that He would beautify the place of His sanctuary for those who had been forsaken and hated and that He would make them an ” eternal excellence.”
Now I want to encourage you if you are hated and forsaken. God has not forgotten you and He loves you with an everlasting love. We all dwell in darkness right now and the darkness is getting thicker. Gross darkness is approaching and will surely cover the whole earth! Yet, we, the sons and daughters of the Kingdom, the remnant saints here on earth are the dwelling place of God and He has promised that we would be full of light and that this light would arise, for the glory of our God will rise up within us as the enemy comes in with a flood of darkness.
Hab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Even in the midst of tremendous judgement and great darkness we see here a promise from the prophet that all of the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of God as the waters cover the sea. All the earth shall see the glory of God as He arises in the hearts of His people. The glory of God shall rise out of the darkness of sin and judgement. Gods children will be a witness, a light unto all the nations of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and then the end shall come.
Lord I pray that you revive the work of your saints in the midst of gross darkness. Lord in your wrath remember your mercy. Let your light and your glory arise in the hearts of your saints and lift the heads of those who cry out to you. And though the fig tree shall not blossom nor fruit be in the vines and flocks shall be cut off from their folds yet shall we rejoice in the Lord. Our joy will flow from our salvation, you are our strength and you give us feet that can cause us to walk in the high places of your presence. Your glory covers the heavens and may the earth hear the praises of you from the saints upon whom you shall fill with your light. Arise and shine and let the glory of the Lord rise above and penetrate the gross darkness. Thank you Lord, be glorified.
America is a country that struggles with the notion of being Christian. But in truth, there are no, nor ever have been Christians nations. In the end all nations are secular. Yet nations can be influenced by the majority culture. This influence can be for good or for ill. If the culture is predominantly Christian in nature even if not in actuality, it will still be a force for good in the world.
It will still be a secular entity but will be somewhat restrained by its Christian influence. As that influence wains, then so does the actions that are taken simply because it is ” the right thing to do.” In the last administration we saw a radical departure from the Christian influence. The terrible situation in Syria was one example of expediency of a secular country and leadership devoid of Christian influence. Imagine if you will that some radical Muslim country was the superpower of today. Imagine if Russia or China was the superpower of the day. To imagine that is to imagine a truly dark world.
The world takes for granted the goodness of a superpower that is influenced by a majority Christian culture. As the Christian influence wains in the highest corridors of power in America then the world becomes a darker place. For in the end the true Christian will do what is right and not what is expedient. When that aspect of influence is lost to America then the world will be lost to true darkness. In the last unholy administration that was an enemy to all things Christian, we saw how that darkness effected the world.
I am not arguing for more Christian leadership in politics. My observations are of a Christian culture in decline and what effects that has on a secular world. As the world seems intent on ridding itself of any vestige of Christian influence, it cannot at the very same time mourn the coming darkness of mankind. Only in Christ is there light, all other roads lead to darkness.
Oh Lord Jesus hear my desperate plea
Silence the “what ifs” that forever plague me
They cry out like sirens from the twisted rocks
They wrap me up in chains and rusting paddle-locks
The ever roaring sounds of what is not
Rattles through my very soul that somehow has forgot
That the Lord is God and He ever rules supreme
And the things we see are not always what they seem
What ifs are like a swarm of angry bees
They encircle and torment me till I fall down to my knees
Stinging out my very life and leaving me for dead
What if suddenly I ignore them and get up and walk instead
What voice shall I listen to before dawn breaks anew
Will the skies be full of clouds or indeed will they be blue
When you listen to the Masters call there is a peace within
That overcomes the anxiousness and sets to flight our sin
Faith is the substance of things not clearly seen
It’s the still waters of my life and it is my pastures green
And yes I walk through valleys that are surely deep and dark
To live an extra-ordinary life is no walk in the park
Oh saint today wont you listen to my plea
Come now before the King to the one who set you free
What ifs are slain in the power of His might
You are the apple of His eye and you are His delight
No spirit of fear lies within you’ll find
But a Spirit of power and a restful peaceful mind
Will raise you up, above, to higher ground
Tis there in golden silence, before His throne you’re found
A long time ago the “Church,” was redefined by men as something separate from the people. They created a building and a system and they called it their own. This is always the folly of men. Consider this, consider what men would do with this. Say, we had in our possession , the bush that burned and the sand that surrounded it when Moses encountered the Lord.It would be venerated and visited by the masses of people and it would be worshiped. Yet all it would be would be a bush and some sand. It is the presence of God that makes the ground Holy, whether it is a bush, some sand, a building , a living room, a basement. God dwells within His people. They are the Church. They are living stones, built upon the chief stone, the cornerstone. When two or three of them gather together, then He is there in the midst of them.
Two or three brothers and sisters. Not one, for one can worship and pray alone and come before the throne, but to the two or three there lies the promise. This corporate presence of God is unique and beautiful and Holy and majestic. It cannot be compared. It cannot because it was created that way, praise the Lord. Now if I know that and you know that then the enemy of our souls knows that too. This, I would charge, would become one of his greatest tasks, to destroy genuine gatherings of the saints. He has had much success but has ultimately failed. Just when he thinks he has down a wonderful job, then God begins to call all His children all over the world, His remnant children to come together for these, the final days.
What seems like the enemy’s greatest victory will become his ultimate defeat. As the saints begin to gather in defiance of his works, then he will reveal himself and come against them with hell and all of it’s fury. And then, in the midst of all of that, the Bridegroom returns for His bride. The lion of Judah returns and He rides, not on a donkey but on a stallion. Not now as the Lamb but as the Lion. He comes to bring justice and judgement. There will be a fire in His eyes and a two edged sword in His mouth, glory to God, glory to God.
I think one of the worse fears that human beings have, and it is a primal thing, is to be eaten alive. It is really why we have this “fight or flight,” reaction that is programmed into our DNA. The chances of the average human being today being eaten alive is almost zero but we still have our fight or flight protection built into who we are.
Now there is a spiritual equivalent to being eaten alive. It is very possible that we have someone in our lives who have the capacity to tear at our souls and eat us alive from the inside out. This is a great danger and takes the wisdom and strength of God Himself through the power of the Holy Spirit to deal with. If you are dealing with that today. If there is someone in your life that is ripping away at your very soul and the essence of who you are then my prayer for you today is to take up the shield of faith.
This shield is more real than any human shield that has been used in warfare for centuries. This is a shield that exists in the Kingdom of God in which we walk. And if we use it, if we pick it up, it will protect us from the fiery darts of an enemy who, if allowed, will tear your heart to pieces. The enemy uses people as arrows and he never misses the unprotected.
These arrows are not just arrows, which would be deadly enough, they are fiery arrows intended not just to kill and destroy but to burn. This fire, brothers and sisters, is quenched by the living waters that flows from the throne room of God. Come to God today before His throne, put the fire out, take up the shield of faith and stand in the evil day. May God bless you and be with you in the battle.
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Is there fruit hanging from your branches? Has the life of Christ in you welled up from the depths of your spirit and produced fruit that others can identify and partake of? You have heard the saying that the fruit identifies the root. If others were looking at you, would they know what kind of tree that you were by the fruit that they could see? There is one thing about the life of Christ, it is unmistakable. It radiates, it produces passion, people can even see it on your face. It wells up in us. As God pours in His living waters into the very depths ow who we are, as the life of Christ bubbles up in us, it has to have an expression.
Artists must paint, singers must sing, musicians must play, sculptors must sculpt and writers must write. It is so vital to who they are, they are just out of sorts if they are not able to have an outlet for the passions that they were born with. It is not even something that they have any control over. If the life of Christ was born into the very depths of who we are it must and will have an expression. The creator of all things, dwelling in you, will love others, will comfort others, will share the truth with others. To those who have Christ living in them, to talk about the one they love is to turn their light on. Only as they are giving expression to that life that is in them are they truly alive.
Here is a song I wrote about a month ago. A dear sister, Mary Greig recorded it in the studio last week. I pray that it blesses you, you may want to share it with someone who needs to be reminded of the love of God…………..bro Frank
How many of us know that the Temples of old were magnificently adorned? The way men glorify their status and power and signify their wealth is to be found in their dwelling places. The richer a man is, the more elaborate is his surroundings. He fills his house with symbols of his wealth and status. The man of God also decorates his temple, the temple of the Holy Spirit, with riches. His dwelling place will be no less elaborate that the richest men of the earth. He will decorate his temple with the finest gold of unconditional love. His walls are encrusted with the jewels of forgiveness and mercy. His windows are draped with opulent coverings of meekness and humility. Trophies of grace hang on every wall. They are framed with the finest materials of patience and kindness. Have you decorated your heart, the dwelling place of the Lord, with such treasures? Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power. (Eph 1:16-19)
I give thanks this morning for the Body of Christ, the saints around the world, His remnant people. There is one thing that I have noticed as I have met genuine saints from every conceivable background. They have β eyes of understanding.β Not head knowledge, but eyes of understanding. Notice what Paul is praying for here; that they may have a deeper wisdom, a deeper revelation, an understanding that is more enlightened. His focus for the saints is that they have an even greater revelation of the riches of our inheritance. Is that how we pray today brothers and sisters? Do we have our eyes of understanding so focused on the riches of His glory that our prayers for the saints is that their understanding of the riches of His glory simply increases? Very rarely if ever do we see the Apostles pray for an alleviation of circumstances, no we see that the prayers are for a greater revelation of the glory of God and the eternal world to come. It is in this revelation that we are empowered to stand in the midst of any circumstances.
Too often the prayers of the saints are focused on the alleviation of the immediate physical circumstances, not realizing that the true power of those who walk the Kingdom walk, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit, lies not in an alleviation of circumstances but an elevation of Spiritual awareness. And who gives us this elevation of Spiritual awareness? βThe Father of Glory.β The very essence of glory, glory itself. God the Father is not glorious, He is glory itself. Just a glimpse of His glory elevates us high above the circumstances of our lives. We see this when Peter steps out of the boat in the midst of a raging storm. As His eyes are focused upon God, He is elevated above the storm. That which was sent to destroy him, now simply becomes a vehicle to bring glory to God. Right now, in the midst of your circumstances, what would bring God the most glory? We already know that God can calm any raging storm at any time, yet He bids us come up higher for His glories sake. He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. While they rage with all of their fury, we sit in peace in His presence and this confounds the enemy of our souls and brings glory to God, and in this, goodness and mercy follows us all the days of our lives.
