Every tear that falls

Posted by appolus on November 15, 2017

If every tear could tell a story
About your love and all its glory
Could you read the words that I cry
Could you even begin to try

With every single tear that fell
There is a story it will tell
A single tear that falls with emotion
Is deeper than the deepest ocean

Tears of joy and tears of pain
A single tear or falling rain
Some tears are caused by a poison dart
That finds it mark and breaks the heart

Some tears come from a cleansing flood
Part of the river and part of the blood
Other tears fall from bitter regret
Of all the things done we’d rather forget

So when all of your tears are gathered together
And are carried away by that heavenly river
They will flow to a sea and by its name it will bless
For the name of that sea is forgetfulness

Hello brother Frank…..This is a very moving poem. Me and my wife Susie have buried 3 of our children on the mission field of Mexico. We have cried a river of tears, it has been over 10 years now, and we will grieve until we join them again in heaven someday soon. I am thankful that some things does indeed go into the “Sea of Gods forgetfulness” , but our precious little children will never go into our own forgetfulness. The tears will fall for as long as we are on this earth. Your Poem is a very ministering poem, to us, and I am sure other people also…….Robert

Dear brother there is no greater pain than the loss of a child, a unique tearing of the heart. I know something of losing a child but not like you guys. One day I will greet your three children and you will greet mine. And in that day all the tears will be wiped away. We suffer loss here but we “know Him,” and He is our very sanity. I look forward to the day when we put off this mortal tent and step into eternal glory, the joy of leaving behind a sin sick world. Until that day dear brother let us continue to shine our light into the darkness. God bless you and your wife………………..bro Frank
