Sleeping in the boat

Posted by appolus on December 22, 2023

This a a poem I just wrote based on a word the Lord gave me last week due to my current circumstances (cancer)

And in the silence there is peace
It dwells above the noise and din
And faith from heaven is released
And fills completely from within

Beggings and pleadings are not heard
By our own hand we are not kept afloat
Yet Christ Himself in the midst of it all
Keeps the storm at bay, asleep in the boat

I shall lie down, at peace in the silence
When all around, the storm rages still
Safe and secure in the depths of His glory
In perfect peace at the center of His will.

I sleep in the midst of the lion's den
They are held at bay by His heavenly hand
His perfect love casts out all fear
And in peace or storm I shall surely stand

I breathe in deeply the air of heaven
It fills me and fills me with His perfect love
A shaft of light shatters the darkness
It leads me and guides me to my home high above.

    Dear brother Frank,
I too am struggling now with an autoimmune disease. I was always a very healthy person since walking with my Master and Saviour. So I struggle with why? I live healthy and had been on a ketogenic diet just for health reasons, Intermittant fasting, I walk in the FATHER`s will and ways keeping HIS Word as far as I perceived it and so on, I am grateful for Nathan Reynolds who brought Dr. Henry Wright to my attention. He left a legacy for us believers mainly to see the spiritual roots of 80% of all our ailments. It helped me “see” my sins of worries and fear for my unbelieving loved ones and feelings of guilt (which is generational in our family, self hatred, self rejection..) which I had allowed. I repented of all and am now taking all these thoughts captive and not allowing them in my mind. Praise Yah I am on a journey for my life fighting against the kingdom of darkness that wants to kill me steal and destroy every blessing FATHER has attained for us on Calvary. I recommend you reading his books or watching on Youtube the many videos it will help you. Cancer is not meant for the children of Yahua!!! It is from the kingdom of darkness!!

This may have been sent already, it disappeared on me…
I want to say dear brother Frank that your God inspired words of encouragement, insights and poetry are very precious to us, I may not comment often, however, I do look forward to them. I had noticed of late that you hadn’t posted for while, perhaps I now know why.
Over the last few years I have come to know how privileged we are to go through trials, sufferings and afflictions, even if they are very very hard!! they really do a beautiful work in us and that work he is working in you is clearly shown in your poetry here. It really is amazing and true that James could say ‘count it all joy brethren….’ I often have wept reading your words because I know that you know the depth of the beauty of the Lord, His loveliness, His incredible grace….honestly words can not express or describe how utterly beautiful He is and this incredible salvation he has for us!! we are only scraping the surface.
You are in the safest arms, may His peace and joy and His love embrace you and your family today and always.

God bless you, indeed, count it all joy. My Lord is with me and He shall take me through the waters. beautiful beyond description, as the old song went, to marvelous for words, too wonderful for comprehension, like nothing ever seen or heard. who can grasp your infinite wisdom, who can fathom the depths of your love, majesty enthroned above. Imagine resting in the beauty of majesty! This is me, for His glory fills me, whether this body wastes away or not, my spirit shall soar with the angels. Glory awaits the saints………………bro Frank
