Frank,
I can’t tell you how meaningful this was for me this morning. I received your sharing “a singular disaster” the other day as “the word from the Lord.
As I was sitting pondering the scriptures a few days ago, I was interrupted with:
“MARY! Listen to Me.
Be ready.
Be prepared.
I am coming soon.”
I could hear Jesus’s desire that He wanted me to be “ready and prepared” but also knew there was the possibility of not being “ready and prepared.”
I began to ask Him what being “ready and prepared”
means. This morning, as I listened to your analogy of Ukraine, reading the “a singular disaster” “the word of the Lord” out loud, and your comments about being “ready,” I heard Him in it. I know I need to cut off the many distractions and things that take up my time to be with Him in His Word.

Your word resonates with many of God’s New Covenant prophets … they are speaking similar words of warning. His Holy Spirit uses the weak to confound the wise. His Holy Spirit said, “The appearance of godliness without the power” in my ear. This morning I am beginning a deep study of 2 Timothy which as I study cross references many other scriptures such as Proverbs 2 and 3. Deuteronomy 32:20 and Proverbs 22:5. I had to look up the word froward to discover a turning back in favor of disobedience and opposition … a backwards walk which is an abomination to the LORD.
I think of Peter and his need to be humbled … I think of wilderness places and GOD’S goodness. My prayer is that the remnant be strong and that she be courageous and that people of faith will be found on Christ’s return … rooted and grounded in Him. It is one thing to speak Truth and another to live it when all familiar is at stake … when martyrdom is the choice that Jesus has designed. I desire to be like the three in the fire … or like Deborah and Esther. I do not desire a Samson like legacy.
Your Word is truth and from The throne room. Our God is long suffering as in 2006 He whispered, “You can not serve two masters” and “Habakkuk.” It is soon coming upon us and yes the saints will be given over just like Job but the end shall be just like Job’s IF we do not depart from His goodness … He is faithful. We are not to turn to the left or the right but focus on Jesus. I pray to have a song placed in my heart if my earthly destiny is to be like Paul and Silas. Those that are His are not walking in condemnation … but we will suffer.
God will one day send His Son … after the tribulation. To rightly divide the word of truth we should read Isaiah 34, which the ancient’s would have known and understood, comparing it with Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13.

Rev 3:10
” Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
KJV This verse helps me… when fear tries to unsettle me (that I won’t be able to endure to the end). And this is what it says to me,
To stay under suffering (endure) in the day in and out of trials and temptations, to embrace the blessed cross of our Lord right now, He will give me the power to endure what He appoints me to go through. This song has ministered to me, about our Beloved Lord’s suffering and our need to stay with Him. I believe He still suffers as He watches. Love and Peace to you all
