Lakeland Revival …Casting Your treasures into the Fire

CASTING YOUR TREASURES INTO THE FIRE
Exodus 32:1-4 (ASV)
1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.
2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden rings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
3 And all the people brake off the golden rings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
4 And he received it at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, and made it a molten calf: and they said, These are thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
In Lakeland, where there is an “outpouring,” going on, it is led by a man called Todd Bentley. His ministry is called “Fresh fire.” I am going to agree with many and say that there is a fire going on in Lakeland. I am not sure if it is fresh, but there is certainly a fire going on. Many people have called Todd Bentley a Prophet, indeed he calls himself that(almost all people who pronounce themselves to be Prophets these days are almost always not). There are just as many people who call him a false prophet. I am not really concerned with that. In fact, the piece that I posted below really only addresses the fact that he claims that he, as a born-again , Spirit filled believer was demon possessed. Also he claimed that if you came forward for “ministry,” you would receive ten years worth of sanctification. Both claims are preposterous and are anti-Biblical.
In Exodus 32 we see one of the saddest episodes of the Israelites in the desert. Moses has been gone, not too long, up into the mountains. Yet even although it has been a relatively short time(all told he would be gone 40 days) the people start to get restless. Can I suggest to you that the rain of the Holy Spirit has been withheld from the church in America.
1Ki 8:35 When the heavens are restrained, and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, if they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin when You afflict them,
then hear in Heaven and forgive the sin of Your servants, and of Your people Israel, for You shall teach them the good way in which they should walk, and give rain on Your land which You have given to Your people for an inheritance.

Now, since the rain is being held back, since the corporate presence of the Lord has been withheld for a time and a purpose, how should we react? Should we examine ourselves and see why the rain was withheld in the first place? Should we look to our worldliness , our prosperity, our lack of dependence upon God , our materialism? Should we look to the fact that we received the desires of our hearts but also received leanness in our souls? Should we, who are called by His name not gather together and humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways. Should we indeed not gather together , as they are in Lakeland, but cry tears of brokenness and repentance. Would Christians flock to that kind of gathering? Would they come from all over the States to weep and cry over the dire state of Christianity? Would they fly in from all over the world to repent? Would they come together and throw their own worldliness into a fire that produced humility and weeping and gnashing of teeth? No, sadly, as of yet, they would not.

First of all, Moses did not bring them out of Egypt, God did. And as He brought them out, did He not enrich them with the gold of the Egyptians? Now that very gold was taken up, and thrown into the fire. And all this at the instructions of Aaron, Moses brother. So you see, it really does not matter if Todd Bentley is a prophet or a false prophet, if he is indeed a Christian or a false professor, a man of God or a peddler of the Gospel. What we do know is that he is leading men and woman, who willingly, and gladly , throw their treasures into the “fresh fires.” Aaron molded and crafted a golden calf. He would later deny this, lie, and say that is just came out that way. And he molded it out of gold melted in a fire of their own making. The results of the this? The people rose up and played. Most theologians agree that this involved dancing and debauchery.
So, in the very days that we should be on our faces, waiting patiently in humility and repentance, with tears of agony at the state we have allowed the Church to fall into, we see a portion of the church “dancing in the desert.” Even after Moses and Joshua returned, Godly men and leaders, many still ignored them. Moses makes a stand. “Whoever is on the Lord’s side, come to me.And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him.”(Ex 32:26) Brothers and sisters, its the priests that came forward to the call from the man of God. And the priests exercised the judgment of the Lord and three thousand was slain. Can I just encourage all Royal priests to step forward and stand by the Word of God. The rain is coming, it is coming to those who wait upon the Lord. We know that the Scriptures teach us …Mat 24:24 For false Christ’s and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect.
So stand firm and exercise patience brothers and sisters. There is a purpose in the with-holding of the rain. Do not be distracted by the Lakeland events and get all self-righteous. All of us brought about the cessation of the rain, and we must look to ourselves and compare ourselves to the Word of God if we are to see an end to the drought and be drenched by His rain once again. It is to easy to compare ourselves to those who are dancing in the desert, compared to that, most of us would look pretty good. Yet this is still a tiny fraction of Christendom…………………….Lord, may the Royal Priesthood stand firm in the midst of chaos. May we keep our eyes upon you oh Lord. May we join with the true Prophet of God and cry ” Woe unto us, for we are men and woman undone, and have unclean lips and dwell amongst a people of unclean lips.” Then oh Lord, a true fire from heaven, live coals from the heavenly alter, will consume us and create true, genuine “Fresh Fire”

MINISTERING ANGELS
The Bible makes it very clear that we are to send the angels out to fight for us, for they have much more power than us mere mortals. For all the problems that we face are orchestrated by the evil unseen principalities and powers, which seeks constantly to destroy us.
The Lord said to me, “ that one of His angels has enough power to deal with all my troubles,” and yet He assures me that He has multitudes ready to swing into action on our behalf, when we give the command for them to fight. Have you commanded them today to fight for you?
The Lord recently has spoken to me, and said, “Where my angels are, there is my presence.” He said angels must fight the powers of darkness, man cannot defeat such powers, angels will rescue you from all evil.
Never ask an angel for help ,never pray to them, never seek to converse with them, unless they speak to you a message that has been given to them by our Lord. Angels are servants of God and His children. God has provided strength for us by these angelic beings.
When Christ was on this earth in His human form He needed strength, just like we do today, and God sent one of His angels to strengthen Him. So that He could obtain salvation for us.
When you need strength, then command angels to bring you strength from your heavenly Father, in fact you can command angels to bring anything that you have asked your Father for. For example, health, wealth, deliverance, peace, etc.
Now, some people are very confused about pictures or statues of angels, thinking that it is forbidden in the Bible to look upon such things, but in fact what the Bible says is that we must not bow down and worship images. For these visual aids actually help us to see that there is more to this world than the physical realm.
Bible tells us that our warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. So, we must use the angelic powers from God, to deal with these unseen powers by commanding angels.
I hope that you use these spiritual warfare secrets that the Lord has shown me. Once you begin to enter this realm of believing there is no going back, you must send angels out every day, to fight the evil spirits of infirmities, which is sickness and disease, the spirit of uncleanliness, which is the evil lusts, in mind and deed.
The spirit of poverty, which are evil attacks on your finances, and anything else that you could possibly think of where you need help.
Most important of all, every day we must repent, and live in the victory, that Christ Jesus has saved us.

Hi Billy….I appreciate you dropping by and taking the time to leave a comment. Let me make a couple of observations on the comments that you make. Dear Billy there are no Scriptures that compell us to send out Angels to do battle for us. If you live in fear for your health and your wealth and for your safety, spiritual or otherwise, then you have my prayers brother. I have perfect peace for my mind is stayed on Him. I already have victory in every area of my life for the lord Jesus secured that for me on Calvary. The enemy has no power over me, for I am bought with a price, the price was the blood of Jesus. When I enjoy the presence of the Lord, which I do, it is not because there is an angel present, it is because Jesus has taken up residence in my very heart.”Greater is He that is in me, than He that is in the world.” I stand in the victory of Calvary. I do not fear death and disease because I am surrounded by Angels. Did angels die for me? Did angels suffer on the cross? I do not fear the evil one because he is defeated and the steps of a righteous man are ordered of God. Demons may be everywhere, what is that to me Billy? If they expose themsleves, they are the ones in danger, not me. And they are in danger not because of me, but because of Jesus in me. For it is at the name of Jesus that every kneee shall bow and every tongue confess that he is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Again, when I enjoy the presence of God it si not because an angel is near me, it is because I am near Him. I have drawn close to Him, inn fact I have come boldly before the thron of God my Father because Jesus my Lord made a way for me to do that, praise the waymaker. Perfect love casts out all fear brother. If you fear for your health, get closer to Jesus. If you fear for your finiances, remember the Word of God which tells you to consider the Lillies of the field, how they neither toli nor spin yet Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed in such spledour. Does even a sparrow fall to the earth and the Lord does not knwo it? Does He not know every hair on your head brother? He is well able to keep His promises to those who seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. I can testify that the Lord’s word and promises have never failed me, praise the name of Jesus. Jesus is then name that is above every name. At His name Demons tremble, and rightly so. As a priest in a Royal priesthood I have been commissioned to to use that name. To call upon Jesus Himself who dwells and resides in my heart and who is illuminated by the Holy Spirit of the living God. The Holy Spirit has been my teacher, the lover of my soul, my defender. He has taught and magnified to me who Jesus really is. And in Jesus lies the fullness of the Godhead. All of Gods glory has been revealed through the Lord Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Praise the name of Jesus brother. May you find and rest in the peace that can only come through Him. I have learned to be content in whatever situation I have found myself in. I have been poor, as the world measures poverty, and I had great joy in the Lord. I have been sick, almost unto death and learned some of the greatest lessons on my Christianity in that sickness(read anatomy of a miracle on my blog)Jesus has taken me through almost every imaginable situations(read “Valley of Achor,” on ny blog) He is High and lifted up and the train of His robe fills the temple. All glory and honor and dominion are His and He is my all in all……..Frank

Well Frank, I have seen from what you have written about my letter ,” COMMANDING Angels”, and I would say, that you know your scriptures very well, and faith in God through Christ Jesus is very special. I would like to say that there are many scriptures in the Bible which would confirm what the Lord has revealed to me. I too know what poverty is, and also sickness which has sometimes taken me to the very doors of death, and the Lord has shown me these glorious revelations how to use an angelic host to battle the powers of darkness. For our battle is not against flesh and blood, and I do not battle against you, but our battle is against principalities and powers, and this battle will continue, and the sufferings of this life also, until our glorious and wonderful Saviour Jesus Christ comes to take us home. God bless you brother, please take this revelation as an encouragement, in Jesus name Billy.

Hi Brother Billy…I bless you as well my friend. You are absolutely right, we do not battle each other, we know who our enemy is. There is a scheme going on by the enemy right now, its an old tactic, divide and conquer. I love you brother and my love for you is greater than the disagreement that we may have over who does battle for us. You go as you are led brother, I can only repeat, Jesus is my all in all, the battle is already won. I said in my first reply that I have victory over every area of my life. Upon re-reading that, it would give the impression that I have no struggles. This of course is not true. What I meant by that was that Jesus has secured and delivered to me the promised land. It is mine to possess. He has went before me and secured the victory, so, victory is already achieved. Glory to Jesus and may His name be praised.
