The remnants journey to the valley of Acacias.

Posted by appolus on December 23, 2014

How many of us “know ,” that the day of the Lord is coming and it is coming soon? This has nothing to do with proofs or opinions, you just know in your spirit, there is a witness in your spirit that speaks to you and you “know.” I could talk about signs and prophecies being fulfilled but I do not wish to do that in this word, you already “know,” that the Bridegroom is coming for this is a word to the remnant. Who are the remnant? Well, they are the Church, not to be mistaken for the established church. God is calling His people, His remnant, from all over the world which includes the established church to come out.

There are still many brothers and sisters within the established church but they will eventually leave. This is not a calling from man; it is a calling from God.God has all but withdrew His Presence from the established church. Eze 10:18 And the glory of Jehovah went from the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubs. The continuing purpose of the remnant within the church is to be a witness to those who would also come out and establish judgment on that which calls itself the church.

The remnant are further identified in Eze 9:4 And Jehovah said to him, Go through in the midst of the city, in the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men who are groaning and are mourning because of all the abominations that are done in her midst.
They have been identified with a mark on their foreheads. They mourn and are deeply saddened at the condition of the established church. Those within the established church will not be able to identify their state for they allowed themselves to be blinded by their love for the world. They so identify with the world that they look just like it. They will be friendlier to those of the world than to those who mourn for the state of the church. The remnant will be and are increasingly marginalized within the four walls of the church and they lose their voice. Fellowship is ever more difficult to find as most in the established church simply have no idea where they are coming from. This process is happening across the spectrum of the established church, whether it is in the “Pentecostal,” circles or the more conservative Evangelical movement.

This isolation that the remnant feel eventually compels them to reach out and find other like-minded people. This reaching out reaches across denominational lines and “strange bedfellows,” are popping up everywhere. The remnant are not to be confused with “church-hoppers,” in fact the opposite is true. The remnant try everything to make a difference in their churches. They go above and beyond but there is simply no breaking through to the worldliness that they find. This is a hungry and thirsty people and they will eventually be compelled to move on in the hope of finding some water in a dry and thirsty land, they are desperate for the “former rains.”

God has begun to pour out His former and latter rains. The former rains have softened and are softening the soil to receive the remnant. The process is in flux all over the world. The winter planting of the wheat has begun for the last time. The Bridegroom is coming and the Bride is being made ready. Not righteous mind you, it has already been made righteous by the Blood of the Lamb; it is being prepared for the coming of the Bridegroom. The mansion has been prepared, the bridal chamber is ready and now the wheat, the Bride awaits the latter rains, they await the sounds of the trumpet. God’s remnant have been and are being prepared and it is they who call down the latter rain. Before they call down the latter rain they call for repentance.

They rend their hearts, they fast, they weep and they mourn. They assemble themselves, gather themselves together. They weep between the porch and the brazen altar which has all but been abandoned. It is they that have been marked by God, the remnant that do these things. It is upon these people whom the latter rains fall. The latter rains enlarges their capacity, they grow stronger in their spirits as the Lord pours out His Spirit upon them. This is not a good sign for the world or for what passes as the church. The remnant begin to dream dreams and see visions. In these dreams and visions they see that the Day of the Lord is at hand. They begin to prophecy against the world and the established church. They call them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, the valley of judgment. And even at this stage the remnant are being called by the remnant. Even now it is the valley of decision; it is still not too late for the heart to rend itself to God.

For the remnant, the called out ones, the chosen of the Lord, will stand in a continual downpour of His rain. Those who formerly thirsted, shall thirst no more. And directly proportionate to the outpouring of Gods Spirit will come persecution. Yet, this only drives the remnant deeper into the heart of God, which still infuriates the enemy of our souls even more. The remnant will then experience a fountain of living water that flows continuously “from the house of the Lord.” (Joel 3:18) And the valley that the remnant have been called to is flooded with living water from the throne-room itself (Rev14:7, Rev 19:6) The name of this valley is Acacias. This was the last known location of the children of Israel before they entered Canaan. (Num 25:1, Josh 3:1) This will be the last location of the Bride before the Bridegroom comes and they enter in and the door is closed behind them. Just because some folks have co-opted the phrase ” latter rains,” does not mean that the latter rains shall not fall. They are coming.

The End of Ages

Posted by appolus on December 22, 2014

The warfare that we fight is in the spiritual realm and there is a seeming massive loss of ground, not unlike when Jesus was hanging on the cross. Yet, just like the old cliche says, “it is always darkest just before the dawn,” then the great darkness that covered the land while Jesus hung on the cross was soon replaced by great light when He arose triumphantly. We will see such darkness and, I believe, are in the birth pangs of such darkness right now, because Christ will soon return for His bride. It is important to have eyes to see what is actually going on and not look at the gross darkness that is covering the land as we speak. Look and see and know that we are on the threshold of the end of ages and the light that will cause the sun to be nothing more that a single flickering candle is on His way.

Christendom- Tear down those walls-And walk through fields of fire!

Posted by appolus on December 19, 2014

Many famous men have uttered many famous words and they have unleashed a truth that seems to be a catalyst for bringing the very words to pass even if it takes weeks, months years of even centuries. I think of the framers when they spoke of all men being equal and all having rights that came from God Himself. When they spoke those words millions of their fellow countrymen were enslaved and it would take at least another two centuries for those words to come even close to being fulfilled, but it came. President Kennedy famously announced that within a decade America would put a man on the moon. When he spoke those words it was almost impossible for that to be carried out, yet, it came to pass. Read below what President Reagan spoke to a people enslaved by a dark system that stifled their freedom while standing at the Berlin wall………………

“We welcome change and openness; for we believe that freedom and security go together, that the advance of human liberty can only strengthen the cause of world peace. There is one sign the Soviets can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace. General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

Later on in his speech and much less well known, President Reagan said …………

As I looked out a moment ago from the Reichstag, that embodiment of German unity, I noticed words crudely spray-painted upon the wall, perhaps by a young Berliner, ‘This wall will fall. Beliefs become reality.’ Yes, across Europe, this wall will fall. For it cannot withstand faith; it cannot withstand truth. The wall cannot withstand freedom.”

Jesus said, in John 17:10-23 “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.”

The walls that Christendom has erected, like the young Berliner said, cannot withstand freedom, cannot withstand faith. These walls cannot withstand the Word of God spoken from His very own lips through Jesus our Lord. The walls will come down. The world will know and see a visible Church standing as one and they will see the glory of God. He will bring it to pass. The Body of Christ will walk in open fields of glory. These fields will be set on fire by the flames of persecution, yet as the world peers into the flames they will see the Son of man in the midst of the fire standing with His own and preserving them. I pray I live to see the day. Christendom…………Tear down those walls!!!!!

Peace, peace, yet there is no peace.

Posted by appolus on October 22, 2014

Jer 23:17 They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you. Jer 23:19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked. Jer 23:20 In the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

We live in strange days indeed. Days perhaps some of the older generation could never have imagined seeing. How rapidly has wrong become right? Much of Christendom is taken up with prosperity and the ways of the world. In Biblical days we would simply call it Baal worship but now the eyes are blinded to that reality. Much of Christendom is dead in that they refuse to allow the activities of the Holy Spirit in their services but the eyes are blinded to that reality. Much of Christendom now ordains homosexual ministers in open rebellion to the Word of God but their eyes are blinded to that reality.

In all of the above cases men are walking after the imaginations of their own heart. Their wisdom is earthly and sensual and certainly does not flow from a Holy God but from the unholy gods of this world. They are at ease in their sin and do not consider that there is a coming storm, a whirlwind that is coming with a fury. It will only be apparent to the wicked as it crashes down on their heads. It is a terrible thing to be given over to blindness.

Yet in every generation God has His servants. They are a witness to the truth. They are lovers of the truth. They declare Gods word without fear or favor of men. They despise flattery as this is a common tool of the blind who encourage the blind. They are exhorters. They encourage the saints and they reach out to the wicked. They have an indignation for the honor and the glory of God that causes them to run to the battle. David was indignant when he heard the giant mock God’s people. There are mocking giants today filled with the same evil spirits who mock and try to intimidate God’s children. Yet praise God, the same Spirit that filled David and caused him to triumph over Goliath fills the saints in these the latter days.

Jer 23:30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

The false prophets of this age steal from those who genuinely know God and who are led and speak by His Spirit. They take what they want and they mix it with their own imaginations. They are like the narcissist who is incapable of feelings and can only mimic what they see. And so they steal the word of God and mix it with the ways of the world and they come up with abominations. In doing so they have incurred the wrath of God and will be blind to the coming storm which begins first at the house of God for that is where we find the false prophet who seeks to gain followers, standing, reputation and money.

The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? (Jer 23:28-29)

The word of the false prophet is smooth and flattering and self-indulgent. They pat each other on the back and congratulate themselves. They are at ease in Babylon. Yet the true word of God is like a fire says the Lord, it is like a hammer that breaks the rocks in pieces. It has a dynamic force that causes a tumult. It penetrates and thoroughly pierces the hard hearts of men. Men are stabbed in the heart by the penetrating word of God. We see this when Peter preaches after Pentecost and three thousand are saved. We also see it when Stephen preaches and is stoned to death. In each case the scriptures use the phrase ” they were stabbed in the heart.” The true word of God spoken by those filled by Gods Spirit will always cause a violent reaction either unto life or unto death but never unto ease.

Stand fast brothers and sisters. We live in dark days for sure but we are not like those who dwell in darkness for the light of Christ is in us. The Word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. “Bless the Lord o my soul for you are great and you are clothed with honor and majesty and you cover yourself with light.” Lord may we walk in this light as you are in the light. Let us have fellowship one with another, the children of the light. In the mighty name of Jesus, whose name is above every other name, we pray these things. Lord pour out your blessing upon the Body of Christ that we may begin to stand as one in these final days, amen.

If it were possible, even the elect would be deceived.

Posted by appolus on October 19, 2014

Just a couple of months ago, former Israeli president Shimon Peres met with Pope Francis and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. At that meeting, Peres suggested that a ” United Nations of Religion,” be formed to combat modern-day wars which seem almost exclusively to be fought in the name of God.  http://blogs.reuters.com/faithworld/2014/09/05/shimon-peres-floats-idea-of-u-n-style-united-religions-with-pope-francis/

He further suggested that the Pope head this organisation because “he is perhaps the only leader who is truly respected”. I would like you to ponder the ramifications of such a union in light of the times in which we live and the Scriptural fact that a whore church will emerge in the end days which will swallow up all religions and nations. There were no details given as to how such an organisation would work or what kind of authority it would have. Ponder again if you will, the three major religions of the world united, Christianity, Judaism and Islam.

What would the argument sound like coming from the scholars and theologians and clerics of these religions in order to establish such a group? I believe that they would take the people back to Abraham. They will show, rightfully, that all three groups can trace their roots back to Abraham. They will argue that we should focus on what unites us rather than what divides us. They will say that we are all one family of God and that although we disagree over Muhammad and Jesus, we all agree on God. Some call him God, others Allah and still others Yahweh, but He is the one God of us all. So the emphasis must be on God alone and while some favor Muhammad and others Jesus, we must cease to speak of these names in public because they have caused so much troubles and wars in the past and in the present.

This will gain some traction especially amongst the liberals of the three main religions. The secular portion of each of these religions and secular society will hail it as the way forward, yet the ” hardliners,” or ” fundamentalists” of each of these groups will reject it out of hand. As groups such as ISIS continue to appear with all of their horrific crimes of butchery on view for all the world to watch on YouTube, a growing revulsion will spread around the world. Where is the light?

Posted by appolus on October 2, 2014

We live in a generation that is almost wholly unreached by the Gospel. Does the problem lie with the unsaved world? The world is wicked, for sure, but it has always been that way, but what of the light? What of the salt? Is our light hidden, has our salt lost its saltiness and if it has, what is its use? Is anyone bold enough to say that Christendom is in good shape? And if it is not, then why not? It cannot be the wicked worlds fault for the world has always been wicked. It cannot be Gods fault for in our God there lies no fault. If the world has grown darker, and we have been charged as being bearers of the light, then where is the light? Is there an increase of darkness or a decrease in light? If their be a decrease in light then what cause? Yes indeed , judgement begins at the house of the Lord.

Death by denomination.

Posted by appolus on October 1, 2014

” The histories of the monks and the friars shows that if a spiritual movement can be kept within the confines of the Roman Catholic Church or any similar system, it is doomed and must be dragged down to the level of that which it sought originally to reform. It purchases exemption from persecution at the cost of its life. Francis of Assisi and Peter Waldo were both laid hold of by the same teaching of the Lord and yielded themselves to Him with uttermost devotion. In each case the example set and the teaching given gained the hearts of large numbers and affected their whole manner of life. The likeness turned to contrast when the one was accepted and the other rejected by the organized religion of Rome. The inward relation to the Lord may have remained the same, but the working out of the two lives differed widely. The Franciscans being absorbed into the Roman system, helped to blind men to it, while Waldo and his band of preachers directed multitudes of souls to the Scriptures, where they learned to draw for themselves fresh )and inexhaustible supplies from the ” wells of salvation.” (The Pilgrim Church, pg 117)

Can you see what Broadbent is saying? Those who bow to an institution, any denomination, are doomed to die a slow death and that which began as fire is doused by the waters of compromise and idolatry. God is a jealous God. He shares His glory with no one and no institution. You cannot serve two masters, you will ultimately love the one and hate the other. The burning fire of God takes place outside the walls, outside the bounds of organized religion. This fire ultimately becomes the enemy of all religion. That is why Frank Bartleman was so upset when the Azusa street revival morphed into a denomination. This would guarantee the demise of the movement itself. Whether a movement begins within the confines of organised religion or becomes an organised religion, the end result is the same. Better to stay within the confines of God and God alone and be persecuted and killed, than to die the slow death of compromise and idolatry. The Waldenses that Broadbent makes reference to when speaking of Waldo, was ruthlessly hunted down and eventually wiped out by religion. Yet, the gates of hell did not prevail against the genuine Church nor can it. God always maintains a witness in the land, a remnant.

Gods end-time Church will burn with the fire of God outside the camp of religion. They will be no less hated by all men. They will fulfill the high priestly prophecy of John 17 and they shall be one for a witness to the world, without compromise and idolatry. The only authority that they shall bow to will be the authority of God. The authority of man ultimately corrupts the moving of God. Self preservation and a desire to avoid persecution in all its many forms is the death of any movement of God. The last great movement of God shall embrace persecution and count it an honor to suffer humiliation and rejection and persecution for His sake, for in this they follow closely in the footsteps of Jesus. And the greatest persecution will come from those who seek to control and organize the people of God. When Gods people reject the authority of religion, they become its greatest enemy and this leads to their persecution. Only lovers of truth will stand in the coming days of darkness. One must be willing to forsake all in order to gain eternal glory.

The beauty of silence in the palm of His hand.

Posted by appolus on September 23, 2014

Ride and ride with all your might
Push the horse into the night
Towards the dawn that’s straight ahead
Fleeing darkness fleeing dread

I have swam in the stormy seas of chaos
I have been caught in the lightning storms of life
Pushing mighty boulders up perpetual hills
I have baked in the sun and shivered naked with the chills

I have been a starving man
With my nose pressed against the window pane
I have wrestled with this world and sanity
And known something of what it means to be insane

And now I listen to the silence
Tis a table set before me fit for a King
A glorious feast of beauty and peace
An immovable Spirit deep within

And in this silence where there is no noise
Can you hear it? Can you hear the still small voice?
A feats indeed to a starving man
To remember n your heart where it all began

In Christ alone I stand or fall
Tis a starving man who cannot hear His call
His silence His peace tis manna to my soul
For distractions and noise surely take their toll

Till there’s nothing left but a valley of bones
And tortured men with hearts full of stones
Starving and dying and withering away
They have long since forgotten how to listen and pray

God is calling He is calling today
We must learn how to listen, to listen and pray
Distractions must cease and an end to all noise
Till we hear again that small still voice

Oh Christendom how often I would gather you in
Away from the world and its noise and its din
Those who can hear me in that day they shall stand
In the beauty of silence in the palm of His hand.

We shall stand in that evil day!

Posted by appolus on September 22, 2014

God has burned the truth of the remnant into the hearts and bones of His children. The days are fast approaching and the times are growing darker but only because the light that outshines the sun is coming for His bride. All of hell and darkness knows this and they know that their time is short. Everything that can be shaken is and shall be shaken. Those who stand upon the solid Rock of Truth, Jesus Himself, shall ultimately be unmoved. They may lose everything in this world, but what is loss to them in this world shall be gain to them in the next. Brothers and sisters, we have treasure in our earthen vessels. That treasure is the glory of God. Hold fast. Consider the lengths men go to in order to protect their earthly treasures. What price our true heavenly treasures? We are a witness to the glory of God here on earth, we bear a testimony. The enemy of our souls seeks to devour that testimony and seeks to take away the manifestations of righteousness. Peace and love and joy and contentment and forgiveness. These are our beacons of light which God shines through the vessels that have been broken for the cause of Christ. Those who bear the light shall stand in that evil day.

No turning back!

Posted by appolus on September 22, 2014

One must follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and not the leading and the wisdom of men. If He calls you out of everything established, then out you must go. Men hate this of course, but our conscience must be good before the Lord. One must speak as one is led and if it means that you stand alone then it means you stand alone, for we know that in Christ we are never alone. We may not make friends and influence people, but that is not what we shall give account for before our Lord Jesus. Yes brothers and sisters, the stripping away of all things is the narrow path. For the first time in my life I was ashamed of the country of my birth, and even in that there is a stripping away. God is raising up a people who shall have no other gods before Him. The people who He is raising up will be like a lightening rod to the religious establishment and the men who desire to follow and be followed. The dark days ahead necessitate the raising of a people who shall be lovers and followers of the Truth. Part of the raising of that people is the refining of that people where they walk through fires that burn away all the dross. ” Though none go with me, still I will follow, no turning back, no turning back.”

And Hell pours forth its fury-ISIS

Posted by appolus on September 3, 2014

Below is an article written by a dear brother in the Lord , Robert Taylor. He is a missionary in Mexico and a dear faithful brother. Robert highlights the fact that ISIS, now the well-known evil group of terror in Iraq and Syria, is also the name of an ancient pagan Goddess. And not just any pagan Goddess, she is still worshipped today all over the world in pagan and occultic circles. She is the Goddess of magic, but more importantly in those circles she is the mother of Osirus. Using her magic she is supposed to have resurrected him from the dead. There is an ancient image of ISIS suckling her son Horus. This image was later co-opted by early Catholicism to represent Mary suckling Jesus.

Now if ISIS represents evil and resurrection, what exactly is being resurrected in this group? Every now and then in history, the bowels of hell of hell open up and evil is vomited onto the land. Not just the ordinary evil that man is so capable of, but a particular demonic evil that takes over groups and sometimes nations in a great tidal wave of hell itself. Nazi Germany is a great example of this. In an interview for a documentary on the rise of Hitler, one regular German woman put it like this. ” There was something in the atmosphere and we all breathed it in.” I want you to ponder  that.

The prince of the power of the air comes down and soaks the atmosphere at certain times. Now, there is a time coming, such as we have never seen before. Is that time now, as brother Robert hints at? Perhaps. Is it the group ISIS that represents the coming great evil such as the world has never seen before? Perhaps. Or, is there something yet to come that is so terrible that our minds cannot even conceive it? Now, all of these events have the same source, yet when the prince of the power of the air comes down in the time just prior to the return of Jesus, there will be something so intoxicating in the air that most will breathe it in, in fact, if it were possible, even the elect would do so, such is the deception.

This is why I do not believe that the group ISIS will be that force, it may be a pre-currsor to it and a microcosm of it and an insight into the sheer madness and evil that is to come that will overtake the whole world , much like Hitler and the Nazis were but not the ” main act,” so to speak. The great evil yet to come will not come from blatant Barbarians, which is what ISIS is and the whole world can see that. No, the great evil to come will be perpetrated by the civilized world and cheered on by that world as it goes about its business of killing every genuine saint on the earth……….bro Frank

The wall shall shortly fall-and great will be the fall of it.

Posted by appolus on August 30, 2014

There is a wall spoken of in Ezekiel 13:10-16. The wall is constructed upon false-hood and lies. Lying prophets who tell the people what they want to hear. They cry peace and prosperity where there is no peace and their prosperity is the gold and  silver of this world. Their gold and silver and jewels are truly wood, hay and stubble and it shall surely come to nothing when the Lord comes against this wall.

There are many who plaster this wall and they do so with ” untempered mortar.” Now, I laid bricks for over 25 years. In the beginning, when I was an apprentice, we went to a trade school. In that trade school, which was indoors, we built many beautiful structures. We built egg-shaped sewers and Gothic arches and so on and we perfected all the finer points of constructing beautiful structures. If you were to walk into the large room where we were hard at work, you would see some of the finest examples of brickwork to be found. The untrained eye would not notice and really could not notice that the mortar between the bricks was only sand and lime, it was untempered, it had no cement. When the project was finished it was simply and easily taken down and the material would be scraped off and used again. If it were outside, it would last to a certain degree but if a storm or rain were to hit it, the structures would simply collapse on themselves as the mortar that held everything together never set and had no actual strength to withstand the weather or shaking.

This is the kind of wall that Ezekiel is talking about in Chapter 13. Christendom itself is just like this wall. It has been constructed by false prophets and the mortar used to hold it all together is religiosity. It gives a beautiful appearance and it encompasses a stronghold, but the time is coming soon when the Lord Himself will come against this structure. The Lord Himself will cause a storm designed specifically to bring the structure down. This is just like Matthew 7:26 where the Lord talks about two houses. One is built upon a foundation of Truth, that is Jesus, and the other has no foundation at all, it is merely built on sand. Now, in the normal course of events no one would ever know what house had a foundation or which did not, until a storm comes and beats against the house and it falls and great is the fall of that house, yet the house that stands upon Jesus alone, weathers the storm.

This storm is coming brothers and sisters. In fact the fore-winds have already begun to blow. There will be a flooding rain, great hailstones shall fall and a “stormy wind shall tear it down.” Tear what down and expose what? The great wall of religion and denominationalism shall soon be exposed as the birth pangs begin to intensify. God always has a remnant of people who dwell outside the walls, outside the systems of men who are witnesses and who testify of the truth. Indeed, as Stephen says , God does not dwell in temples built by human hands. God’s kingdom dwells within the hearts of His children. His structures consist of living stones. These living stones together, is the temple of God.

This great storm of darkness that is descending upon the world is designed to leave only the true children of God standing, and by standing I mean never faltering, standing fast to the end , prevailing, enduring and overcoming. That which is without the foundation of Jesus, which is constructed by untempered mortar will not stand and by not standing I mean shall falter, shall not stand fast unto the end, shall not prevail, shall not endure and shall not overcome rather shall be overcome by the great fall of the world and will be destroyed in the midst of this great fall when God moves. Finally that untempered wall shall be no more when the climax of the storm comes, when Jesus Himself shall descend in all His glory with the saints with a shout of glory and triumph. Those saints still alive after the final martyrs have been slaughtered shall arise and join Christ and His army in the air, that glorious army of saints who come with Christ and then every knee shall bow, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God.

A possible scenario for End Times

This subject can be very difficult to approach today because there have been so many crazy people claiming when the end of the world would happen. The below scenario reckons on the saints going through the great tribulation. Therefore there is no particular day or hour that is looked for, rather a season, birth pangs if you like. We are told by Jesus that we should be able to discern the signs of the times, not the day nor the hour of His return. In any event, most Peoples of the world and the church have a difficult time imagining a time where Christians would be hunted down and killed for the mere fact of being Christian. They may be able to imagine this in a Muslim world setting, but not in the West. I do not claim that the scenario below is prophetic, I merely wish to show you a logical procession of events that could lead to a world-wide persecution of the true saints.

I think we may all agree that Jesus is coming relatively soon. Where we may disagree is on the subject of rapture. Lets assume there is no rapture and Jesus is coming soon, then the saints will go through the great tribulation. The Scriptures tells us that it will be worse than anything that has ever happened before in history, in fact the Lord must shorten those days for the elects sake or we would all be dead.

Just 70 years ago, in the heart of educated and cultured Europe, in a country that pronounced itself to be Christian, an evil man arose and in six short years, killed six million Jews for the mere fact of being Jewish. He shoved them into gas chambers and then burned them in furnaces, men, woman and children, sparing none. Now this is not some Biblical genocide from the ancient world, this is something that happened just 70 years ago. Now what kind of events would need to unfold for the world to turn on Christians and for their to be a coming together of the world religions into one religion?

Lets say tomorrow there is an attack by Muslim extremists on multiple cities. New York, Washington, London, Paris Rome and Moscow are hit simultaneously with nuclear suitcase bombs. Rather than the three thousand dead of 9/11, there is one hundred thousand dead in each city. The world is repulsed and is brought together because of this great tragedy. Fundamentalists of all stripes are universally condemned and outlawed. To state publicly that there is only one true religion, only one way to heaven, becomes illegal. Such people are denounced as those who have caused all the troubles in the world. They are seen as a cancer on society which society must rid itself of.

The demise of Christendom in the West

Posted by appolus on June 28, 2014

Society is changing at a rapid pace as many are aware. The goal posts of ” normal,” are constantly being moved in a never ending downward spiral. The old analogy of putting a frog in hot water and it will jump out, but put a frog in cold water and gradually heat it up and it will stay and die no longer really applies. The pace of spiritual demise has become frantic in the last few years. The enemy knows that time is short and that the Lord is coming back and so the heat is being turned up around the world in order to make way for the lawless one. And so, it is very clear now that ” normal,” depends upon the tone of the culture and Christendom at large is doing nothing to slow down the rapid downward cycle of society, quite the opposite in fact. The salt has lost its saltiness and the light, if it exists at all, is hidden. Much of the Evangelical world is simply a reflection of the world at large as it caters to the needs of it’s worldly adherents.

Christendom has lost its way

Posted by appolus on June 16, 2014

Modern day Christianity has lost its way, has lost its focus. The central truths upon which we have stood for two thousand years has been lost in a fog of noise and distraction and in the rise of humanism and the flesh. Never before, in the history of the Western world have we seen such an indulgent , entitlement-minded people. And since a great majority of the Christendom is just like the world, then we see an indulgent, entitlement-minded church. These people have produced preachers and teachers that will tell them what they want to hear. It is often hard to tell the difference between a motivational speaker and a preacher. Instead of teaching and preaching based upon the central truths of Christianity, there is preaching and teaching on how to get the most out of life. They teach that God would never call you to something that you do not like. Can you imagine your kids telling you that they are not going to do their chores that you have set for them because it does not bring them pleasure? Would you indulge your kids in this behavior? Or would you take the time to explain to them about building character, about sacrifice and about servant-hood? Are these three elements some of the things that are missing from the church? It’s strange that Christendom would condemn the “If it feels good, do it,” generation yet at the same time teach this from their own pulpits.

The coming unity of the saints.

Posted by appolus on March 31, 2014

‘ And He gave some. apostles:and some;prophets;and some evangelists; and some pastors and some teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ“( eph 4:11-13) The Church may proclaim an imminent rapture as much as they will, and teach that any moment that the saints will be snatched away from earth to escape the gathering clouds of Tribulation. But this is not the teaching of God’s Word. True, we must always be waiting and watching for His appearing but this is not the ” Appearing,” of modern evangelical theology. The glorious Appearing must first of all manifest in the saints.” (George Warnock)

There is a unity of the faith coming and it will be a witness to the world. Why? Because God’s word has proclaimed it. God is raising up, even now, His ministers for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ. And to what purpose? The unity of the faith where they will stand as one ” man.” This present day fractured divided Christendom stands as a witness against ” ministers,” who have been working towards their own ends, building their own kingdoms, striving to bring glory to their own ministries. For countless centuries men have been satisfied with multiple divisions and their own position within the ranks. The proof? Present day Christendom. Far from being a witness to the world, it has been a cause for mocking……….bro Frank

The greater light is soon to come

Posted by appolus on March 14, 2014

If the greatest darkness the world has ever seen( Calvary) produced the greatest light the world has ever seen (The resurrected Christ) then we who are alive and remain just prior to His coming back will witness the greatest light since Jesus walked the earth. There is a great darkness that is slowly covering the world, there is a great light that is coming out from the midst of it, God’s remnant saints. And the world will know that the Father sent the Son for they, in that day, will stand as one. The Father and the Son abiding in His called out ones by the power of the Holy Spirit.

A Spiritual Avalanche is consuming Christendom

Posted by appolus on March 10, 2014

As many of you who visit this site often know, myself and many other voices have been warning now for many years about the great falling away and coming persecution. These elements will serve to separate the sheep from the goats in the last days in which we live. Many know of Steve Hill who just passed away. He had a vision which I would like to share which goes right along with the many voices God has and is raising up in these days. Watch the short video below, I believe it is a word from God to Christendom………………bro Frank

Beginning of Sorrows

Posted by appolus on February 14, 2014

The forces of chaos are on the march. There has been a release of anti-christian thought that we have never before seen in the west. In times past it has typically taken decades to slowly denigrate a people. Study history and see that the assaults came in what is known as gradualism. Before Jewish people were ever murdered in  the holocaust  they were openly maligned for at least a decade or more although anti semitism had been around for countless centuries and Jewish people were killed in many pogroms. Goebbels, one of Hitlers right hand men, was the mastermind behind turning a whole nation against one group of people using the power of propaganda via radio and newspapers.  In Rwanda we saw the open and brazen denigration of one group against another over a long period of time before the slaughter began, typically through radio. Now we see more and more open hostility to anyone who holds to God’s views whether in the realms of science or morals. The difference today is that there is massive power to be wielded through television and social media and technology. What formerly took decades to achieve, poisoning the minds of the masses, can now be achieved in a stunningly short period of time, such is the scope of that power.  And so we see that stage one of  persecution consists of marginalizing a minority and denigrating their believes and who they are.
