“The true Christian is in the world but not of it. The fact is that our citizenship is not of this world. Whether God chooses us to be born into Communist China, or Capitalist America, maybe Socialist Germany, it matters not. Perhaps we will be born under a monarchy, perhaps under democracy, maybe dictatorship, again, it is of little consequence. For we are not citizens of the world, we are indeed, ambassadors. We represent a kingdom that is, yet is not, yet is still to come. As representatives, we will live peaceably and quietly wherever we are sent. To become embroiled in the politics of wherever we are sent is to depart from our mission and is a tactic of the enemy.”

Arise and Let Your Enemies Be Scattered
Posted by appolus on February 9, 2008
“After many years of violence and terror, one particular night seemed to draw all the demonic forces together. My father, always highly unpredictable, seemed to have lost his mind this night. He was laughing hysterically and then crying, and all the time holding my mother by the back of the hair and pounding her face with his fist. She just kept repeating “Jesus loves you, Jesus loves you.” My sister was in the corner of the room screaming. I stood behind my dad, frozen in terror. We had witnessed violence many times before, but this night was different.”

Where are you in the Battle ?
Posted by appolus on February 9, 2008
“All of these men and many more had one thing in common. They all were conquerors. They literally laid their lives on the line and most of them were actually killed. Do we have what it takes to stand up and be counted? Would we be willing, like these men, to put our lives on the line for truth, to stand in the gap? ” Read the rest of this entry »

The Prodigal Bomber
Posted by appolus on December 31, 2007
“Have you ever prayed for a loved one for a long time? You pray and trust in the Lord and you actually see that person getting worse, going from one bad decision to another. You talk to them and you share with them and you try to council them and convince them that everything they need, the answer to their deepest problems lie with the Lord Jesus.”

A vision of coming into His presence
Posted by appolus on December 28, 2007
“The sun rises majestically from behind ancient mountains. What a glorious
describable scene. What is indescribable is my glorious indescribable Jesus. He rises majestically and wondrously out of the sea of the world and the mountain of His presence touches the sky and the sky that He touches is cloudless and without trouble.
It looks down over a still and motionless sea. This sky, this sea is my heart warmed by the rising of the Son until it burns intensely into my soul and my flesh and changes everything. In this fire of His presence I am alive with a life that will never end. Oh glorious indescribable King, Oh Jesus.”
