The crisis of the age!

The church in the west is starving to death and they are dying of thirst. The tragedy is, that for the most part, the majority that are called after His name do not even know that they are in the midst of a famine and a drought. I thank God for His remnant people who do know, who agonize over the state of the church. Who cry out to God and who want nothing less than for the multitude of people to experience the majesty and the glory and the anguish and the joy of falling down before the throne. Who desire all men to be ruined for this life and to walk with the grand obsession of the Lord Jesus Christ.
There is coming a time, and we may be there already, when God is calling His people, His remnant people who have experienced the presence of God, to rise up and testify to it. To testify of what they know of Him. Of how they come into the presence of a Holy and majestic God. Of how it ruins them and changes them. Of how they tremble before the throne of the almighty God. This is what the people are starved of, this is what they are dying from. There is a famine of the Word of God in the land, not the Word preached, but the Word preached with the power and the presence of God. The crisis of the age is a lack of God’s empowering presence in our assemblies. May the glory of the Lord fill His house.

Thanks for this reflection as it represents the journey I’ve been on for a few years now. I know something about nearly all of that which you speak except His manifest Presence. My goal is Christ and I’m so thankful He has given me the hunger and thirst for Him and I eagerly anticipate a glorious encounter in His timing not mine. He is faithful and has called me into fellowship with His Son. If I must spend more time in the wilderness so be it and again I thank you for your encouraging words to “be of good cheer.”

Thank you for the uplifting and encouraging messages in these last few months.
I realise that we are in very trying and desperate times.
I would like to hear whether you can help regarding the question of DELIVERANCE ministry. Deliverance not only from demonic influence but regarding soul copies, hurt inner children, inner healin on body, soul and spiritual level.
They are teaching that as covid infects from one person to another, so too, soul copies are transferred in the spirit and one must not even be in the company of others who appear to be of doubtful character.
Didn’t Jesus visit Simon the leper and Lazarus who was raised from the dead and He allowed Mary of disrepute to anoint Him for His burial?
If Jesus had known about the soul copies He wouldn’t have been in their company?
I was enrolled at such a ‘course’ where demonic soul copies are identified only for a few months.
I began to feel uneasy about the complexity and the never ending ‘tunneling’ into a next level of spiritual captivity.
I was introduced to and began to listen to David Pawson and Justin Peters in the past 9months.
I know that only JESUS IS ENOUGH. He has overcome.
Or am i wrong and is it necessary to go through deliverance using these complicated, apparently Holy Spirit led methods?
I also am aware that confusion is not from the Lord Jesus. In His presence there is soundness of mind. Those who are doing this course are of high regard in the community and very busy helping the Bride to be delivered from oppression and torment for end times ministry.
If I have a wrong opinion, please help me and maybe others in this same confusion to see the Truth and Light.

Hi Coleen, please do not go back to that course. For the most part, the so called deliverance ministry is full of quacks and charlatans. When someone is genuinely saved, the only spirit they have is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does no co-inhabit with a demonic spirit. It is the business of the Holy Spirit to sanctify His children, and He does. He takes us through it step by step and step by step as we surrender to His will and are obedient to His revealed will we become more like Jesus. This is what the Word teaches sister. I guarantee you that if the Word of God is your guide and the still small voice of the Holy Spirit, then He will complete the work in you that He started. You can have peace in that………….bro Frank

May we wait upon the Lord and know that DARKNESS will be OVERCOME by HIS GLORIOUS LIGHT.
