My question to the Lord’s children, the Lord’s Church, is, will you arise and go down to the Potters house? Will you come to the Father and place yourself in His hand? Are you really an Evangelical?

IΒ think that many “Evangelicals,” will be shocked to realize that they are actually “Anabaptists.” Actually I do not care for the title. It was a given name and typically, down through the ages, the various names that Gods remnant Church were given were names given by their oppressors.Β Β There is a Β reason that we see almost 90% of Evangelical children walk away from their “faith,” when they go to college, its because they were never saved in the first place. As an ex-Catholic, I know that almost every one of my friends, as soon as they left their parents homes, stopped going to Mass. We see the same thing happen to Evangelicals because the origin is the same, a State Church or denomination designed to encorporate the entire population rather than be a Church of believers. I think as you read this article you may be shocked to find out that you are not an Evangelical and if you had been alive 400 years ago, you would probably have Β been hunted down and killed for your faith, by both Catholics and “Evangelicals.”

An Ancient Battle !

They have drunk of the water that flows from the Sanctuary of God, from the Well of Life, and from this have obtained a heart that cannot be comprehended by human mind or understanding. They have found that God helped them to bear the cross and they have overcome the bitterness of death. The fire of God burned in them. Their tabernacle was not here on the earth but was pitched in Eternity, and they had foundation and certainty for their faith. Their faith blossomed as a lily, their faithfulness as a rose, thir piety and uprightness as flowers of God’s planting.

Walking in the Spirit!

When two paths open up before me, and I choose the narrow one,Β when I do all these things and men know me because of them,Β when disaster strikes my life and my response is to praise my Father in Heaven and lift up the name of Jesus, then I am walking in the Spirit.As I do all these things and a peace that is beyond understanding fills me completely, then I know that I am walking in the Spirit of the Living God and my heart literaly burns within my chest. Revival or Reformation?

It is my considered opinion that under the present circumstances we do not want revival at all. A widespread revival of the kind of Christianity we know today in America might prove to be a moral tragedy from which we would not recover in a hundred years.

I want deliberately to encourage this mighty longing after God. The lack of it has brought us to our present low estate. The stiff and wooden quality about our religious lives is a result of our lack of holy desire. Complacency is a deadly foe of all spiritual growth. Acute desire must be present or there will be no manifestation of Christ to His people. He waits to be wanted. Too bad that with many of us He waits so long, so very long, in vain. We have put our roots down in a world that we are only passing
through, to the point that the culture has overtaken faith. 1 Peter 2:11.
Peter tells us to be aliens to this world and to abstain from fleshly
desires that war against us. What are these things that war against
us? The very culture of self that we live in today – from sexual
perversion to self-centered greed, to theΒ attitude that we deserve
anything we want. This culture has brought down basic values and
destroyed the family in this nation. Just like Lot in Sodom, we have
grown so comfortable with the life it provides us we don’t even care
about the sin around us. We have adjusted our religion to fit the
culture. Β We are at a point where nothing shocks us anymore, but
as long as we can keep our comforts it’s OK. Β We love this world
and the things it affords us so much, we have missed the narrow
path and are trying to turn a deaf ear to the warnings of God for us to repent.

Saints, the Spirit of the Lord has departed from the Established church. It now has a distressing spirit from the Lord. It is run through with many fears, it staggers to and fro. It runs to the left and to the right. It has run to a prosperity Gospel, a Gospel of health and wealth, name it and claim , word of faith movement, in a desperate attempt to move in faith and the things of God. It has also run to the politicians, to Washington, to the halls of earthly power because it has no heavenly power. They have also run to legalism and the confines of the Law and it has brought them to a place of self-loathing. They seek to gain peace for their souls, but it cannot be found, they are distressed.

The Remnants Reformation

In this post there are several articles grouped together in regard to the Remnant and the coming Reformation. I hope it will be a valuable resource. It can be a very lonely and confusing walk right now for Gods people, but it is very comforting to know that there are countless tens of thousands of Christians around the world who are walking the exact same narrow path that leads through this current desert. I believe that the “river is rising,” and that there is a depth of feeling that the drought and the famine could be coming to and end, for Gods sake and for His glory. There is a critical mass of His people who are now in this stage “As the deep panteth for the waterbrooks so my soul longeth after thee.”

How to build a church!

In the new move of God, when He pours out His new wine into new wineskins, it will be important to know how to build a church. Below you will find an article that lays out a very basic concept, yet it merely follows the pattern laid down by Scripture. When the dust clears and the old structures are gone then the building can begin. No one can tell how long it will be until the persecution starts, but one can never go wrong by following the Biblical model.

The Glory of God’s presence has departed(but will return)

Pastor Brian Long , a very good friend of mine, a dear brother in Christ, preach’s on the the departed presence of God. Yet, what has departed, will return. God has His remnant people and He will never leave them nor forsake them.Β I had a similar word from the Lord back in May https://scottishwarriors.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/the-glory-of-gods-presence-is-departing/Β God is showing this to His people all over the world. God is about to birth something new, a new wineskin for this new wine that He will pour forth as He returns to a rebuilt Temple.

A Vision of the Lost

And I saw out of this dark angry ocean, a mighty rock that rose up with it’s summit towering high above the black clouds that overhung the stormy sea. And all around the base of this great rock I saw a vast platform. Onto this platform, I saw with delight a number of the poor struggling, drowning wretches continually climbing out of the angry ocean. And I saw that a few of those who were already safe on the platform were helping the poor creatures still in the angry waters to reach the place of safety.

Ask yourself this question, are you ready to give your all for the Lord Jesus Christ? Is He more important to you than your life, your reputation, your worldy goods, even your family?We must never underestimate what has went before us. Yet, asΒ you listen to just one testimony of a saint from a dungeon, your spirit will soar to realize that even in the darkest dungeon the Light of the world will illuminate and pierce the evil. For what is darkness? Darkness is the absence of light. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty, indeed, He will never leave us nor forsake us.
