The Saul spirit is rising! (beware)

Posted by appolus on December 23, 2009

Saints, the Spirit of the Lord has departed from the Established church. It now has a distressing spirit from the Lord. It is run through with many fears, it staggers to and fro. It runs to the left and to the right. It has run to a prosperity Gospel, a Gospel of health and wealth, name it and claim , word of faith movement, in a desperate attempt to move in faith and the things of God. It has also run to the politicians, to Washington, to the halls of earthly power because it has no heavenly power. They have also run to legalism and the confines of the Law and it has brought them to a place of self-loathing. They seek to gain peace for their souls, but it cannot be found, they are distressed.

The Saul Spirit is rising

What do I mean when I say that the Saul spirit is rising? To those of us who are sensitive to the things of the Spirit this word will need no explanation, in fact it is to you that I write. You will “ know,’ this word in your “bowels,” you will need no convincing.

1 John 2:18-20 (ASV)
18 Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they all are not of us.
20 And ye have an anointing from the Holy One, and ye know all the things.

You see the Scriptures confirm that those who have an anointing from the Holy One “Know all things,” and can recognize the truth when they hear it. Some may say “I have a witness in my spirit.” You either know it already or when you hear it , it confirms what you “knew,” in your spirit but now that knowing has “flesh,”….has words. So I write this to those who have an anointing from the Holy One, which is all of His people. As the Scripture stated, the anti-christ is coming. In fact even now many anti-christs have arisen and “went out from us.” You see, as always, the danger to Gods people does not come from outside but comes those who “went out from us, but were not of us.” Our persecutors , brothers and sisters, will come from what we would call the “Established church,” which includes denominational and  non-denominational churches, in fact, the Evangelical movement.

Now this may seemed far-fetched at this time, but for those who have glimpsed through the Spirit, you will know that this is true. They will grow to despise us, as strange as that may seem. Now why will they hate us and hate us enough to persecute us and hand us over to the civil authorities when the time comes? Well brothers and sisters, there is nothing new under the sun. The same anti-christ spirit that was behind all previous persecutions is still alive and well and binding his time. It still has that demonical hatred for those that have a relationship with the Father. This is the true source of all Satanical hatred of Gods people down through the ages. You see, we have what Satan and the demons once had, a close relationship with our Heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We can call Him “Abba,” and Satan hates it. We are the apple of our Fathers eye. He loves us with an everlasting love. How much you say? Well just look to Calvary. His thoughts of us are innumerable, as the sands of the sea. He knows every hair on our head. His love for us is beyond words. All of this Satan and the demons had at one time, but they gave it all away . And for them there is no going back. There is no hope of redemption for them, they are truly hopeless beings and they despise us with a hatred that cannot be put into words. And so, they are darkness and we who “know,” the Father are light.

They are our mortal enemies and they do not rest, day or night in their efforts to destroy us. Yet, we serve a risen Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord and we stand under the shadow of His wings, we are covered by His blood. Our enemies may be able may be able to destroy our earthly tents, yet they can never destroy what they hate the most, our eternal relationship with our Father. And so we see Saul. The people wanted a king so they could be like all the other countries. They wanted to put their trust in a man, in an institution and despite a severe warning from God, they still wanted it. And so God gave them over to what they wanted. Now, Saul believed that he was a servant of God. The Spirit of God would even come upon Saul, yet it did not take Saul long to expose himself. In 1 Sam 13 Saul takes on the role of Priest and he unlawfully sacrifices. He makes rash oaths which he cannot keep. He spares King Agag and all the best of the animals totally against the will of God. This was a man who was a law unto himself, he was a lawless man.

How much of the church today have that same spirit of lawlessness ? In 1 Sam 15 we see that the lawless King is rejected by God. (1 Sam 15:11) Now is the time for God to anoint His own King. This King would be a man after Gods own heart as opposed to Saul who represented the people. It is interesting that simultaneously we now have tow Kings. One is legitimate and has the anointing of God, the other is rejected of God. Today, we have the established church and we have the Remnant Church. One is anointed of God and the other has been rejected by God. And we see in 1Sam 16:14 “The Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.” Saints, the Spirit of the Lord has departed from the Established church.

It is interesting to see David act as King even although he has not yet been established.  One has the position, the other has the anointing. Today, the church has the position, the remnant has the anointing. The Remnant are so zealous for the glory of God and His name  that they will still run to the battle and the established church allows this. They battles the giants of darkness who seek to shame the name of God. David loves God and is indignant when he hears Goliath. He runs to the battle and as one who is anointed , kills the giant. Initially Saul is happy but when he hears the people singing that “ Saul has killed his thousands and David his ten thousands,” he begins to hate David. You see pride is at the root of evil. Pride is the very sin by which Satan fell. And the final nail in the uneasy relationship between Saul and David comes quickly. “ And it happened on the next day that the distressing spirit came upon Saul and he prophesied inside the house. So David played music with his hand as at other times, but there was a spear in Saul’s hand. And Saul cast the spear for he said “I will pin David to the wall!” But David escaped.” Now here is why Saul tried to kill David……. ‘Now Saul was afraid of David because the Lord was with him but had departed from Saul.” (1 Sam 18:12)

We can now see the “Saul spirit.” The essence of the Saul spirit is captured in verse 12. Saul was afraid of David because the presence of God had departed from him, and David walked in the presence of God. From that time on Saul would seek to kill David. His madness and arrogance only increases as he plummets into darkness. Consider the murder of all of the priests of  Nob, not only killing 85 of them for daring to help David, but also killing all the men, woman, children and babies  that dwelt in Nob, and all of their livestock. This is the madness and level of hatred of the darkness against the light. From that time on and down through the ages this spirit has continued. Whether it was the Pharisees killing Jesus and the Apostles, or the Catholic church killing the Waldensians or the Hussites or the countless hundreds of thousands killed in the inquisitions, or the Reformers killing Anabaptists or Moravian’s, that which is established but has no anointing seeks to kill that which has the anointing. The illegitimate hunting down the legitimate. The enemy always tries to kill those who are walking in the Spirit, walking in the presence of God. When God calls His Remnant out of the desert and pours out His Spirit upon them , this will mark the beginning of severe persecution. There is a direct correlation between the depth of the anointing to the ferocity of the persecution. Amos 9 talks about the day that the ploughman will overtake the reaper. A great outpouring of His Spirit upon His remnant. When this happens, then begins the great persecution by the “Saul spirit,” from the established church. They will hate the Remnant for the same reason that Saul hated David. The spiritual darkness that motivates them cannot stand any human being that walks in the presence of God and who is headed towards an eternal relationship with Him. The established church will come after the Remnant in that day, but be of good cheer brothers and sisters, if we are fortunate enough to be the generation that sees these things, then we know that the Lord is at the door, our salvation draws near, the Bridegroom is coming for His Bride and we will be with Him forever. I found this post so hard to read, because it is so true. I have seen the church run from one new thing to the next, and none of it is from God! They run for experience, and when trouble comes, they have nothing to stand on. Their eyes have been shaded, so that they see, but not completely.

Very true Zeddy. When one dwells in a darkened room for a long time, the eyes become accustomed to the darkness. In fact , after a while, one can move around with ease. Yet one that dwells in the light will stumble and fall in the same room. And by the same token,if the one who dwells in the darkness which is now percieved as light were to go outside into the actual light, there would be searing pain and he would have to cover his eyes and run back into the darkness of his room for some relief. Yet a few push through the pain and press in, having a great desire to dwell in the light, having grown weary of walking in an eternal state of grey, or lukewarm as the Lord would describe it in Revelation. This state would be akin to the children of Israel who desired to go back to Egypt after their deliverence, because their focus was on what they did not have, their eyes were blinded to the miracle of their deliverence and sustenance. And they were engulfed in a spirit of unbelief and disobedience and unthankfulness. That whole generation never saw the promised land, they all fell in the desert……….Frank

Good article brother. Many in the States understand the limitations of the alter call. And of course it can be argued and identified that many, many fell back after “coming forwward.” Yet, we see Jesus talking about the same subject in the parrable of the sower and the seed. Could it be argued from that parrable, that all who heard heard with gladness yet 75% produced nothing? Now, did not Jesus heal 10 lepers? How many were thankful? How many of the children of Israel, delivered from Egypt, survive the desert? Should Jesus not have healed any of the lepers? Should those ungrateful children not have been left in Egypt? So, what is my point? I guess, if one looks at the great revival of 1859, we see that so many involved in that were “Finneyittes,” (I made that word up:)

Anyway brother, I am not a proponant of “cheap grace.” On that we would agree. ………brother Frank

I will address the spirit of Saul in this post for who and what he is. I realize this is going to be a long post so I will ask you to forgive my indulgence.

Before anything was ever created, God Was. He existed, and had life from eternity to eternity and there was only Him, and no one else. God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. In Him is life, and this life is the light of men. Before any creation there was only God, and God is good. There was no evil present with Him or near him at all, even from eternity past.

Evil had its beginning though, and was no never created by God. Some will argue the point that God created evil, but God did NOT create evil! Evil was a consequence of created being having a free will, a choice to choose between good and evil, not a creation in and of itself. God did NOT create His creation evil! He created man and said what? God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. Genesis 1:31 – It was very good, NOT EVIL!

It wasn’t until God had created the first free will being that he brought into existence the possibility of sin, the possibility that this free will being he created will choose to rebel against His will, and herein evil had its beginning. God made known the penalty of disobedience to His will. Just as God called the light day and the darkness He called night, He calls Obedience or Godlikeness good, disobedience He called evil. And herein is the origin of good and evil, and the two are separate.

God called all things pertaining to Himself Good, and the things pertaining to disobedience He called evil. There was no good and evil in the begining, only God. It was not until God created the first freewill being, that He brought into existence the possibility of disobedience which is also called sin. And what is sin? Sin is disobedience to Divine will. What does sin do? Sin directly challenges the authority of God’s Godship, his authority. And this is why God cannot allow sin to live. What is life? Life is the presence of God and blessing of God, for God is life. What is death? Death is separation from God and everything that is God.

In the begining God as a wise master builder drew up the plans for His creation, and in the plans He foresaw everything He ever wanted to create. Our names were written down in heaven during this planning stage, before creation started. For those whom God foreknew He did also pre-destinate to be conformed into the image of His Son. Before any creation existed God was and existed and had life within Himself.

A part of me believes that in the realm of the billions and even perhaps trillions of galaxies out there that exist, that it is indeed the realm of those whom we know as angels. No one knows for sure how old the angels are or when God created them, or what their beginnings were. Surely our beginnings are here on Earth, but this is not the end of us…for we shall ascend into the heavenlies in a glorified body. We are here on this Earth in the flesh, but we will transcend into the heavenlies in a glorified body and sit on the very Throne of God Himself, even as it is written in Revelation 3:21 that we should. Even the Apostle John did not know what we would become…think about that one. Did the Apostle John not write to us and say: Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2
And John was with Jesus on the mount of transfiguration and saw Jesus glorified…but he says what we are to become has not yet been revealed.

You see, what satan tried to steal away from God, God freely gives to us His elect saints, and this truly drives him insanely mad with such vile loathe and putrid hatred, and herein we begin to see the spirit of Saul take root…is this why they persecute us so?

To which of these angels though, did God ever say “sit on my throne”?… but The Lord Jesus tells us if we overcome the world, we will sit on His throne even as He overcame and is sat down on His Fathers throne. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation%203:21&version=NKJV

So, what happened in God’s heaven that a full one third of all the angels fell…a full one third? How many countless millions or even billions of billions?

Did God overthrow them because of their pride and rebellion, that they would not humble themselves in obedience to serve a lesser creature then they themselves? Is this why these fallen ones hate us so much with such vile loathe and putrid hatred, to whom it is a very torment for them to see us made the heirs of salvation with the forgiveness of sins, while they themselves are condemned to the second death in the Lake of Fire without ever a hope of redemption?

I want to say here as touching these fallen angles, that I do not bring a railing accusation against them, but only say “the Lord rebuke them that disobeyed Him”. Consider the pride and disobedience of these fallen angels as examples, of those who carry pride and disobedience to Divine will into the eternal judgment of God concerning it…as it is written.

Is not pride the forbidden fruit of the Garden of Eden? Pride is sin and exalts itself above the knowledge of God. Is it not for the sake of pride (knowledge of good and evil) that Eve did eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for she saw it good concerning knowledge? Knowledge puffs up. And why did Adam disobey God and hearken to the voice of his wife? Is it not through that one act of the one disobedience of Adam that God overthrew the entire race of Adam forever? Disobedience because of pride? Oh how God hates the sin that challenges His authority; one needs to understand how much He hates sin. But He loves man more than this…For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

God our Father, did once and for all destroy sin in and for man (His elect ones) forever, and for all of eternity – through the cross of His Christ, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

You are right Brother Frank, persecution is coming soon.

I believe the days of the Great Tribulation are before us as foretold to us in the book of Revelation. We are the generation that will see the coming of the Lord, and even as I write this, prophecy is being fulfilled.

Aside from the restoration of national Israel, and concerning the book of Revelation, and concerning the saints and the mystery of the great whore…

There are two purposes for the time known as the Great Tribulation, and that is dealing with two women; there are two women being dealt with during this time. One is the Harlot known as Mystery Babylon the Great, and the other is the Bride of the Lamb. I find this as being the theme to the Book of Revelation. The first part of the book of Revelation, The Lord is dealing with His Bride, and also at the end when she is glorified and rules on the earth with the Lord for a thousand years.

With this theme in mind, let’s move forward.

There are two paths to understand in understanding the book of Revelation –

The destruction of Babylon the Great, which is the dominion of Adam’s unregenerated, unredeemed Race on Earth, which dominion God first gave to Adam (Genesis 1:28), and confirmed to Noah (Genesis 9:1-2)

…and the rise or crowning/glorification/beautification of the Bride of the Lamb to the place of rule and dominion. One shall be dethroned, and the other enthroned. Just like King Saul and King David

Mystery Babylon the Great (MBG) is “the body of persons, of all unregenerated/unredeemed persons of Adam’s fallen race” in the world that ever existed.

There are presently two bodies that are on the Earth – “The Bride of the Lamb” and “The Harlot” (AKA Mystery Babylon the Great”)

As we are called the “Body of Christ” because we are the “Body of the Believing,”. The Harlot of Babylon is called so, because she does not believe, and is unregenerated by the Holy Spirit, she is the “Body of Unbelievers”.

The Body of Christ is people; the Harlot of Babylon is people also – Two women with two very different destinies.

Faith is of the Holy Spirit. Unbelief is of satan the apostate spirit. To whom will we yield ourselves? To which body do we belong?

Sarah and Hagar are types of the Body of Christ (Bride of the Lamb) and the Whore of Babylon – MBG. One (Sarah) was of Faith and believing of the promise of God, the other (Hagar) is of unbelief. From one would come the seed of promise (Isaac) from who came the Messiah, and from the other will come the son of perdition – the antichrist.

MBG (or Mystery Babylon The Great) has ruled the world since the fall of Adam; she has controlled governments and commerce and all aspects of the rule of man since the fall of Adam, and she is about to fall…when the wicked and unbelieving and unregenerated Godless are to be removed. MBG is the rule and dominion of Adam’s fallen race (led by satan) in the spirit of unbelief.

…again – Two women, two destinies.

The Bride of Christ will reign on earth with Jesus during the thousand year reign; The Harlot will be removed forever.

I do not consider the “physical cities” like NY or London as being MBG (that great city) (Mystery Babylon the Great)…no more then I would consider a Church building as being the elect Lady. Physical cities will fall, which is not MBG.

    for example:

    Rev 17:18 says –
And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.

Rev 16:19 says – Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.

Mystery Babylon the Great is divided into 3 parts that God will destroy – “to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.”

    the three parts:

    1. Material Wealth – destroyed by Famine, disasters, war and destruction of infrastructure.
    2. People – Destruction of the bodies and souls of men (Wars, disasters, pestilence, plagues, and calamities etc.)
    3. Rule and Dominion – satan (who is thrown down to the earth) takes over of dominion of the Earth from MBG or Adam’s race as per Revelation 18:2

The Lord has set in order the timing of these things.

The Clarion Call to repentance is going out…”COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM”

I believe we are at the door to the time known as the Great Tribulation, and we as Christians must prepare ourselves and go out to the wilderness before this comes about (meaning away from established denominations…Just like John the Baptist called the Jews out into the wilderness away from the synagogue (established religion). If we do don’t heed the call to repentance (and we need to understand what this is) there is a storm coming…and we don’t want to be caught out in it, because it will take us away with it. The Lord is commanding His body to repentance…worldly Christians or carnal Christians. There is not much time left now, and judgement is set. I desire that everyone reading this will have the blessing of Revelation 3:10

But for those who miss it, and there will be many, I see an unprecedented global revival coming, an out-pouring of the Holy Spirit not seen since man has been upon the earth…it comes during unprecedented Great Tribulation. All I can say is thank God for His mercy to all of us; I believe we are even at the gate.

When the body as a lesion on it, you burn it off with fire… so the body can be made pure, but…so as by fire.
The time of man’s dominion on earth is at an end, and the end of this age is now upon us.

The time is short now, and the day is far spent, for the great and terrible day of the Lord does come…the day in which He shall judge the nations in righteousness. The day in which the sinner and the ungodly are to be removed forever.

    Jesus is coming!

And he surely shall sit on the throne of his glory, and He shall judge the nations in righteousness; for the sum of all judgment is given to that Son of Man.

And He shall cause the sinners to be removed and to be destroyed from off the face of the earth. With an adamantine chain of God’s fixed decree shall the unrighteous and unbelieving sinner be bound, and in their assemblage-place of destruction shall they be imprisoned, and all their works shall vanish from the face of the earth, for in righteousness does He judge and make war. And from henceforth there shall be nothing corruptible; for that Son of Man has appeared in power and great glory, and has seated Himself on the throne of his eternal glory. And He reigns forever, and His kingdom is forever and ever. Amen

And He shall take to Him His great power, and the heavens and the earth shall be violently shaken, and He shall rule the nations with a rod of iron. All evil shall pass away from before his face, for who shall abide the great and terrible day of the Lord? And the word of that Son of Man shall go forth, and be strong before the Father of Spirits, and the sum of all judgement is given to that Son of Man. Blessed and holy are those whose sins are forgiven, who have washed their clothes in the blood of the Lamb; blessed and holy are those whose names have been written down in heaven; for when He shall appear, they likewise, shall appear with Him in honor and in great glory.

All of Revelation ch.18, describes Revelation 16:19 in detail.

An unprecedented move of the Holy Ghost (all gifts functioning) is coming, in Great Power!! (the time of nourishing in the wilderness for the church)

But since satan can no longer tempt, spiritually harass and accuse, because he is thrown down, he persecutes the Bride through the hands of those who receive and take the mark of the beast…and the Bride’s saints and prophets are sent to martyrdom at the hands of those whose names are not written down in the Lamb’s book of life.

…but the Lord is with them in their hour of trial, and the strength of the Holy Spirit sustains them and fills them with an unprecedented supernatural calm, peace and comfort, and there will be absolutely no fear of dying for the saints in those days, as the Holy Spirit will sustain them.

Excellent piece David. Now you do not have to agree with every point that David makes about eschtalogy(the study of end times) but all of these points are worth giving serious consideration too. I have never believed in a pre-trib rapture, I just never saw it in the Scriptures and I came to the Scriptures as a “virgin,” so to speak as one that came out of the world. Now as for God’s people being taken into the desert, many are there now I believe.

Brother David is right. He is at the door. The end of all things is close. There is coming a great outpouring (Amos 9:11-15) and with that outpouring will come the persecution, of that I have no doubt. Right now is the time to ready yourself. Seek the Lord while He may be found………brother Frank

    Brother Frank,

A great message and very timely. It is clear that these things are coming, probably faster than we think and faster than many are prepared for. If you have received this revelation and have been obedient to what you have been shown you will find yourself already in a place of great condemnation from most as they consider you to be either confused in your understanding of Scripture or prideful. While that may be true for some, that has not been what I have seen from most that have decided to run from these systems of the world (1 John 5:19).

The other point of this that I have found is that many have received the revelation and have decided to turn back. I know that the Lord is long suffering, as we should also be, but it is a point of great concern for those that make that choice. Interestingly as well, those that decide to reject these things are typically those that frown the greatest on the stand you end up taking. Hopefully that is just my experience.

You are in great company – http://jesuspaid1time.blogspot.com/2009/03/persecution.html – as Art Katz stated something very similar in his days.

    Thanks again for sharing!

I agree brother that these things are coming faster than we expect. You write………..

“Interestingly as well, those that decide to reject these things are typically those that frown the greatest on the stand you end up taking. Hopefully that is just my experience. ”

That is not just your experience unfortunately. What you are saying is correct. Its kinda like the “believers,” in John 8 who, before the chapter is finished, are about to stone the Lord. Anyway, we have to follow Him for He has the words of life, no matter what storms that may bring, I know you would agree with that David…………….God bless you………brother Frank

Frank, thanks for posting this. I’ve been hearing a lot about the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit that is coming, from certain individuals at my church. Yet there words trouble me greatly because there is no mention of confession, repentance, nor preparation. Just accept it by faith. Believe it and you will partake of it. I’ve been studying on some things, because they also mentioned there was an Elijah company in the church, yet I got the distinct impression they didn’t understand what that meant-perhaps again, because of the lack of mention of preparation, repentance, confession…etc. The more I meditated on this, the more I realized the outpouring of the Spirit would mark the beginning of a severe persecution. When I was reading this, what you wrote, confirmed what was being realized in my spirit and meditations…thanks again.

HI Kathleen, I believe the whole purpose of the outpouring is to prepare us for martyrdom. The generation that greets the Lord in the sky, will be a generation that has walked through the fire. As it was in the beginning of the Church, so it will be at the end………brother Frank

1 Peter 1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Luke 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience(endurance, constancy).

Luke 21:19 In your patience (endurance, constancy) possess ye your souls.

        Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience (endurance, constancy);
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Our Father is so faithful to try us in these times and prepare us for this time that is coming. The great challenge that we have before us is to be those that are working in this time, in faith. Much like we endeavor to prepare our children for all the trials that are before us our Father is doing that in this day. May we be those that are prepared and are ready to help all that have ears to hear.

Good morning. One thing that troubles me that many of us don’t understand the full scope of this battle. The severe hatred that the enemy has for us and the relentless efforts that will be put forth in an attempt to derail us. The hatred that Saul had for David was a perfect physical picture of a battle that has continued throughout the ages and is going on today. Those who once “had it” but turned from it, will be intensely hostile to those who “have it.” The remnant church, which walks in the liberty of the Spirit is a continual reminder to the established church that they are trapped in a form of godliness with nothing to offer but a myriad of programs.

Thanks for a most important post that explains this. Blessings always in Jesus name.

I agree to a point. The established church is very much lacking in power, and persecution will surely come from aspects of this “church”. The Spirit has not been taken and there are still many true believers in the established church. I was called to be a pastor in one and serve in one presently. I believe I will not be in the established church long, but I have been placed here for a reason. I was called to minister to saints. There is much work to be done in the church, but don’t give up on it. The Spirit still moves and breathes in it. The established church is as one in a straight jacket twisting about trying to get free and just doesn’t realize they’re holding themselves by the sleeves. Someone must warn them of how far they have strayed. I feel that burden and I know I’m not the only one. Don’t give up on them. Go get them.

Hi Hoo, thanks for dropping by. I appreciate your comments. Its not about me or anyone else giving up, its about what the Lord is doing. I do agree that there are saints in the established church, in fact there is a countless number of them. Yet, I believe that the Lord will call them out or they will foundationly changed. There has been a reformation before and there is another one coming. The established church has a format that is inconsistant with a healthy “Body.” The body has to be operating under the Lord. In any gathering of the saints, there may be, for instance half a dozen or more teachers. And in no way , because one is a teacher does that qualify that one to be a pastor and so on. The worship leader may not be able to sing very well but is sensitive to the Spirit. Maybe the worship leader would be the Holy Spirit and the Body would worship as the Spirit leads. Brother, we could go on and on, but you see the incompatibilty to the established church. There is a great hunger and thirst out there for nothing more than the Lord’s presence. It is this very hunger and thirst that will seperate and draw His remnant people unto Himself…………..Frank

Perhaps you are not giving up, but the tone is that of someone who doesn’t have any hope in reformation. Martin Luther accomplished this at a time incomparable to the one in which we live. I say Luther but it was the Holy Spirit moving in him, allowing him the grace and courage to stand up to the established church. As I stated earlier most churches have lost their power. I don’t see where the format of church bears any weight. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. If a church puts the Lord first and strives to be a holy people, Brother, the format does not matter. Just some thoughts. Again, I agree with most of what you said. I think it’s just the tone of surrender and escape that I didn’t agree with. We all must deal with our own personalities and what not and it certainly could be that I read too much into it.

Brother, this post was not about reformation, this post was about what the saints will face in the tribulation. If you want to see where I stand on reformation, read “A coming reformation.” 🙂 Now brother you seem to be arguing from the “Catholic,” side of things so to speak. In that I mean that Luther could not reform the Established church, the Catholic church, and a whole new movement arose out of the ashes of that dead denomination.

As for the format, it is extremely important that the Lord be “allowed,” to move. Most formats of church give 5 minutes for announcments, 20 minutes for woehip and an hour for preaching. Shall the Lord move in His alloted 20 minutes? That is what I meant by format. Too much control by man, usually one man, this was never the design for the church. The church is a body, and as such has to move as one. If it is a one man show(certainly not biblical) then I would argue that the body is greatly weakened. This one man show is the Catholic model of ministry. All the power flows through the priest. The new movement, the reformation that is coming, I believe, will sweep all that away. New wineskins for new wine. If a local gathering of Christians can adapt, if the pastor can step down and let Jesus step up, then perhaps they will be part of the reformation, but that is what it would take. I pray to the Lord that we will see that, even this year.

The tone of this post is deliberatly somber, it is a somber thing to consider persecution , especially when it comes from those who would call themselves by the name of the Lord. Now brother, perhaps you do not believe that this is the way that it will unfold, I totaly respect you right to that opinion. We shall perhaps agree to disagree? 🙂 Love you brother and may the Lord richly bless you with His presence, even this day………..brother Frank

I am one of those that has been wondering in the wilderness. I do know that God has been pursuing me. He didn’t let me stay in any comfort zone. It is like I have been blind to a lot of things and woke up suddenly. I have so much ground to regain that I lost. Pray for me that God will strengeth me and give me direction in this late hour. I haven’t felt peace because there is too much noise. I was trying to fix things in my own power and failed. I need to stay focused in order to hear his voice. It’s been such a heavy burden to bear to just keep myself from giving up in weariness. I knew something was not quite right because God doesn’t let me have peace if I am not focusing on him. Please remeber me and my youngest child J. who got baptized with me last year. It’s been a tough year. I need my brothers and sisters in Jesus to lift us two up to get strenth again and a supernatural intervention for whats going on in the family. I am so tired.

Hi Peggy. You have my prayers sister. My reply to your other comment stands for this one too sister. You wrote “I do know that God has been pursuing me. He didn’t let me stay in any comfort zone.” That has a ring of maturity to it sister, the Holy Spirit is teaching you and leading and guiding you into all Truth. Stand strong in Him sister, you have an enemy of your soul and He will not have you. You are a servant of the Most High God. It is at the name of Jesus that every head bows and every tongue confesses. He is your and you are His. He has you in His hand sister, never believe the lie of the enemy that would say otherwise. He loves you with a love that is beyond our understanding and He loves everyone of your children and you have been called to be a witness to them. Stand strong in the Lord(surrendering all to Him) and even although things may even seem to get worse, its because there is a might battle going on for the souls of your children…………………Frank

  11. The Lord has been speaking similar things to me for awhile now. As ice walked out my calling with and Elijah type anointing in this season I’m seeing a lot of under ground clusters being formed. The Lord has been speaking to me ” Underground Railroad”, there are a set few out here lighting done very powerful resistance that by taking heed to Gods voice , pray and fast. There are also others which walk truly with an humble Apostoluc anointing being sent to establish these pockets of true Saint. Bless you my fellow warrior….Thank you for your obedience and for the confirmation. 🙂

God bless you brother. The Lord has been strategically placing saints all over this country for such times as to come. Many will not understand this now, but in the days to come, when things suddenly change, there will be, and already is, a network of folks who know and love The Lord and are sold out to Him. I have no doubth this will be an incredible blessing to saints in the coming persecution. God is good and always prepares His people………bro Frank
