Jesus came to destroy religion
Posted by appolus on March 11, 2018
Jesus did not come into the world to start a religion, He came to destroy all religion. Religion is the apex of the pyramid. It is mans highest and best efforts to touch the heavens. Jesus, on the other hand takes us straight into the depths of the Father’s heart. Regulations build the hierarchy of men, relationship with Jesus makes us one with the Father.

You got to the bottom line of the whole thing Brother Frank. Religion is the number one thing that I am confronted with here in Mexico. Thousands upon thousands, that the religion of the Cathloic church has convinced that they are right with God. I have found that it is easier to convert an atheist than a religious person to the truth.

Robert, I completely agree with the difficulties that you must encounter. As an ex-Catholic I know well that religion is the truly “the opiate of the masses,” while relationship is the revolution that is like a golden bullet in the heart of the monster and Jesus is the leader of this revolution. Well should the nations rage and the religionists plot vain things against the children of the revolution, the Body of Christ, for it threatens their very existence and Jesus is our leader…………..bro Frank

That’s a pretty powerful statement there Robert. My friend Mark could add this to yours along a similar line: In relation to contrasting religion with true Scriptural faith and practice my friend Mark writes, “The longer we are on these paths, the greater our commitment to them grows.” I have found this to be true over and over again. On just about any given day I can have a very good conversation about God’s true ekklesia and what He is building spiritually with a teenager, yet rare is the opportunity to get beyond 5 minutes with someone who is heavily invested in organized religion. One has to believe their is some serious spiritual bondage going on here among those who simply refuse to see.
Thanks for continuing to herald the truth Frank, especially when that truth reveals the true cost of following our Lord.
