The universe speaks to the vastness of God. When we think of the countless trillions of stars we are reminded in Isa 40 that God knows them all by name. If He knows every single star by name and every single sparrow that falls to the ground then it comes into clear view that He knows every single human being and every hair that is on their heads. When the Scripture tells us that His thoughts of us are more than the sands of the sea, when we consider the vastness of the universe and peer up into the night sky then this Scripture is easy to believe. Its the wonder of it all. The vastness of the universe and the glory of the infinitesimally small that makes up the human body. We stand in the midst of that and God stands outside of it. Imagine, if you will, a God that holds all of it in the palm of His hand.
