A word from the Lord

Posted by appolus on February 11, 2017

(The Lord woke me last night with this, I got out of bed and wrote it down)

“Revival does not come about because we desire to see something fixed, it comes about because we desire to see God.”

I believe what the Lord saying to me was a constant. What I mean by that is that the Lord is not moved by circumstances, He is not reactionary in that sense. He is constant, He is never changing, He is immutable.Often times we as individuals or as a Body are on a roller coaster ride of emotions and circumstances. Other times we are just dulled to the things of this life especially when we lose the passion of our first love. So, seeking God, desiring to see Him for nothing more than the desire to see Him, to encounter Him, to be swept away by Him, to be taken up by Him, this strong desire leads to personal and corporate revival. In the great faith chapter we read……….

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Diligence is an interesting word. In the Greek it means to search out, to seek, to crave. When we do this we are rewarded by finding that which we seek…….bro Frank

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.(Jer 29:11-14)

Amen, brother ! Revival, righteousness, salvation, peace, and joy…all abide in that fixed desire for God, and nowhere else.

God’s greatest desire is to dwell among His believing children. Our desire to see Him back in our midst must be followed up by a corporate repentance. We have pushed God out of our the local churches (by our unbelief and prayerless lives ) and only our humble prayers can bring Him back to us.
“If My people who are called by My name HUMBLE THEMSELVES and pray……..”.
“Help us O God of our salvation for the glory of Your Name. Deliver us and forgive our sin for Your Name sake. Why would the nations say, where is their God?”

I agree with that Shimon that for the most part we have pushed God out of our churches and replaced Him with entertainment, motivational speaking, dry ice, low lighting and wannabe rock stars…………………bro Frank
