A declaration of Independence

Today America celebrates her declaration to Britain. Declarations are powerful and consequential and typically final one way or the other. We live in a day and an age where we need more declarations like the one here celebrated. Whatever side of the pond you live on, it cannot be denied that this declaration put everything on the line for those who made it. Life or death. In our day it is truth that is enslaved. It will take great boldness and a willingness to put everything on the line to stand against this tyranny of lies.
Make no mistake, the lies that now enslave the world are powerful indeed and indeed are growing more powerful by the day. What was the colonies in comparison to the might of the British empire? What are those who stand upon the truth in comparison to a world of lies? We are a colony apart from an ever darkening and increasingly menacing world. Only a total separation and a declaration of independence from this world will do. Everything will be put on the line by those who make such a declaration. Life or death. Truth or lies. Heaven or hell.
