God Will Strike His Remnant People

Just as the Lord came to die so that He may bring forth life in the resurrection, so to with God’s remnant people. The people of the last day will be a martyred people, a genuine witness in the earth. Yet God will never abandon His people, especially at a time of extreme persecution, a time so severe that we have not seen the like before, a time that God Himself shortens for the elects sake.
GOD WILL STRIKE HIS REMNANT PEOPLE
Zec 8:2 So says Jehovah of Hosts: I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.
Zion lies at the very heart of Jerusalem. One could say that Zion is the heart beat of Jerusalem. There is Israel, and then there is Judah, then Jerusalem and finally, at the heart of it all, Zion. I would like to argue that Zion represents God’s Remnant people. One could say that Israel is all of Christendom, everything and everyone that goes by the name of Christ. This could be countries or large denominations like Catholicism or the Orthodox Church, or just the man in the street, who, if asked , would reply that he is a “Christian,” despite his lifestyle. Judah would represent the majority of Evangelicalism. Jerusalem would represent God’s Remnant people.
Zec 8:6 So says Jehovah of Hosts: If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be marvelous in My eyes, says Jehovah of Hosts?
God has begun to pour out His Spirit on His Remnant people. The rhetorical question asked in Zec 8:6 is saying, ” Is there anything too difficult for me?” Even although His people have come through a serious drought and famine, God promises His people that…….”I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a City of Truth, and the mountain of Jehovah of Hosts, the Holy Mountain. (Zec 8:4) This will result in God’s people coming together for surely His remnant people are His temple? So God will be in Zion and His gathered people, His Remnant people will be as one, will be His Temple and God will dwell in the midst of them.At that time the Lord says….
Zec 10:1 “Ask rain from Jehovah in the time of the latter rain. Jehovah shall make storm clouds, and He gives them showers of rain, grass to everyone in the field.” The Remnant people will be drenched in the Presence of God. God Himself will be their “exceeding great reward.” (Gen 15:1) This is the people that hunger and thirst for His presence. Who know Him. Who know that a relationship with Him is the pearl of great price. Who, although there may be secondary blessings, are only interested in the Giver not the gift. Who genuinely seek first “The Kingdom of God and His righteousness.” Who know from experience that “A day in your courts is better than a thousand.” Who would “rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,” than to “dwell in the tents of the wicked.” This Remnant people know “How lovely is your tabernacle, oh Lord of Hosts.” Their ” soul longs , yes even faints for the courts,” of their Lord. Their hearts and all that they are as a people ” cry out for the living God.”
As the Lord pours our His Spirit on the remnant, then the religious institutions and the world in general will begin to turn on them. Directly proportionate to God’s Spirit in His people will be the level of hatred and animosity towards them. The majority of the hatred will come from what passes as the church and evangelicalism. The remnant’s relationship with God, which is their very life, will highlight to the religious people that they are just that, religious. The religious people will have a better relationship with the world because they can relate to the people of the world. The world’s goals, humanism, materialism, capitalism, socialism and any other ism’s are all shared by the religious people and what passes for the “Church.” That is why is very difficult to tell today’s church apart from the world, whether it is materialism or divorce or any other marker, they are basically the same. The remnant wont even have to say anything, just their very presence will be an irritant to the religious people. The religious people know that they do not “know,” Jesus in the way that the remnant speak about and it makes them angry. At some point in the relatively near future, when humanism and tolerance and political correctness threaten the established church, then they will “give up,” the remnant in order to preserve themselves. Along with giving up the remnant, they will give up essential truths of Scripture in order to preserve themselves. At the very end, they will turn the remnant over to the authorities, because they know them better than anyone. This will be reminiscent of the Pharisees turning Jesus over to the Romans. Yet, we, the remnant, must not fear for Scripture tells us that the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Zec 2:5 And I, says Jehovah, will be to her a wall of fire all around, and will be the glory in her midst.
Zec 12:8 In that day Jehovah shall defend around the people of Jerusalem. And it will be, he who is feeble among them at that day shall be like David; and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of Jehovah before them.
Zec 12:10 And I will pour on the house of David, and on the people of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of prayers.
This Spirit of Grace will lead to conviction and repentance and the Spirit of supplication will lead to an attitude of repentance and prayer for God’s mercy. We are all ready seeing this Spirit on God’s remnant people from all over the world. It stands in stark contrast to a blind “Church,’ who have no idea of their own true state or the state of the world or the lateness of the hour. So we begin to see identifying characteristics of the remnant people and the religious people. We see in Eze 9:4 that when God’s judgement begins, the remnant are identified in this way “And Jehovah said to him, Go through in the midst of the city, in the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men who are groaning and are mourning because of all the abominations that are done in her midst. “
It is interesting that when the Spirit of grace and supplication is poured out on the remnant people and this leads to repentance and a cry for God’s mercy, the Scriptures then say …”And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced.” This is truly the mark of the remnant people. They look to Calvary, they look to Jesus. They celebrate the victory of light over darkness. They know that when “the one who was pierced,” says “It is finished,” that the power of darkness , sin, hell and death was shattered forever. The remnant know that just as the world hated their Lord and crucified Him, they too will be hated and killed all the day long for His names sake. And just as He arose, they know that they too will arise. As they draw nearer to “the one who was pierced,” and He pours out His Spirit on them and they become more like Him, then the same forces that came against their Jesus, hell and all its fury, will come against them. They know that “unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it abides alone, but if it dies it brings forth much fruit.

In that time we will be immersed in a fountain of grace. Zec 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David, and to the people of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. This is the power of Calvary realized. A fountain was opened that day, sin was defeated and our place before the throne of Grace was established. This is the power of the remnant people. At Calvary, the Shepherd was stuck, and just as the Father struck the Shepherd, Jesus, He will also strike His remnant.
Zec 13:7 Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My companion, says Jehovah of Hosts; strike the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. And I will turn My hand on the little ones.
Zec 13:8 And it shall be in all the land, says Jehovah, two parts in it shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left in it.
Zec 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My name, and I will answer them; I will say, It is My people; and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.

Beloved, we are His “little ones.” There is a fire coming, such as has not been seen before. We shall be tried and tested in the furnace of affliction and persecution as all of Hell’s fury is unleashed in these, the last days. Yet, we must not be afraid, this is a glorious vision of God’s purpose for us here on this earth and He will never leave us nor forsake us. Despite the greatest trials ever known, the Spirit of the Lord will lay so heavy upon His people, so drenched will they be in the dew of His presence that if they were to burn us, it would be hard to light that fire. The glories of heaven opened up for past saints even as flames licked around them they sang praises to the Almighty God. Stephen, as cruel stones pummeled him was caught up in a heavenly vision and full of love for the stone throwers. We are indeed safe in the arms of our God who told us that His grace is sufficient. He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us and in the darkest of trials comes the greatest light. Yes, come what may, we belong to a God who is well able to hold us tight in the palm of His hand. For the time is coming brothers and sisters for us to “gird up our loins,” and stand in boldness and confidence in the God that we serve. If we have to pass through the fire, then the same God that was with the Hebrew children will be with us. We shall find that in the lowest valley the highest mountain top can be experienced because the mountains bow down at His presence. Even in the darkest night, that darkness will be light to our God and oh how bright that light appears to them who depend upon their God

Your sole concern should be to show forth to the world the blessedness of hearkening to the voice of wisdom.

Good evening. This may sound strange, but word cannot describe how much encouragement I receive every time I stop by here. The issues discussed here will cause many to feel uneasy. Instead I always fined a renewed desire to just get in close to Jesus and abide in his presence continually. The events that are soon to erupt upon the earth are beyond our ability to persevere in our own strength. We will need to be dwelling in the presence of the Lord continually. Not just paying him a visit every once in a while when we’re not busy, but abiding in his presence every second of the day.
Sorry for rambling. (what’s new lol) You made an important point that defines the true worshippers. The Lord is their “exceeding great reward.” They aren’t in it for the stuff; they desire to be with Jesus. Their affections are set on things above and have, from their heart, let go of every earthly entanglement. Thanks for mentioning this.

Yes, brother, that Scripture is key to me. In the winter of our personal lives as true believers , or winters, then everything is stripped away. Imagine that we are trees. A tree in the winter loses all of its foliage. Now, it has no particular beauty, we can see the tree in its true form, its has been stripped of all of its coverings and stands “naked,” before the world. Yet, it is a fact in nature, that this is the time that the tree actually grows in height and its roots grow deeper into the earth. All of the life giving sap focuses on the growth of the tree and not on feeding the foliage. This will and must happen to genuine Christians in thier walk with God. God, at various times, has to strip away all of our “foliage,’ our coverings in oder for us to grow. What is occuring now in the Body is the same. Everything is being stripped away, and what is left is the actual tree itself. And while this is a cold and painful experience, there can be no other way for God’s remnant people to move forward as “the bride.” This undoubtedly is and will be a long cold winter and the severest that has ever been known. Yet it is now that the winter wheat is planted, it is now that the grain falls to the ground and dies, it is now we die alone but will be raised in the glorious spring time of His coming aided by the latter rains which is so vital to the this particular wheat. Bring on the harvest Lord, your Bride cries out to you. We long for your return. Our ears strain to hear the blowing of the shofar, to hear the trumpet herald your return. To signal to the virgins to trip their lamps, oh Lord fill us now to overflowing so that when you return soon, our Lamps will light up your way, burning brightly with your Holy Spirit, hearts burning within us, which is the light of this world……..Frank

I wrote this out some time ago…(the following is a very long read, but worth it.)
Why I believe the Body of Christ, or as you refer to “the remnant” Goes Through Great Refiners Fire the Great Tribulation.
There is no way the church is ready to be caught of to meet the Lord in the air yet, …not just yet…too many divisions and not much unity. But this will change, as we read from Revelation 19:7 that the Bride will have made herself ready.
There are two purposes for the time known as the Great Tribulation, and that is dealing with two women; there are two women being dealt with during this time. One is the Harlot known as Mystery Babylon the Great, and the other is the Bride of the Lamb. I find this as being the theme to the Book of Revelation. With this theme in mind, let’s move forward.
Two paths to understand during the time known as the Great Tribulation, the destruction of Babylon the Great (which is the rule and dominion of unregenerated man), and the rising or crowning/glorification/beautification of the Bride of the Lamb to the place of rule and dominion. One shall be dethroned, and the other enthroned.
Mystery Babylon the Great, mother of harlots and abominations of the earth (MBG) is “the body of unbelievers” in the world (unregenerated man – and they rule the world at present).
As we are called the…”Body of Christ” because we are the “Body of the Believing”. The Harlot of Babylon is called so, because she does not believe, and is unregenerated by the Holy Spirit , she is the… “Body of Unbelievers”.
Two bodies are on the Earth – “The Bride of Christ” and “The Harlot” (AKA Mystery Babylon the Great”)
Faith is of the Holy Spirit. Unbelief is of satan the apostate spirit. To whom will we yield ourselves? To which body do we belong? Sarah and Hagar are types of the Body of Christ (Bride of the Lamb) and the Whore of Babylon – MBG. One (Sarah) was of Faith and believing the promise of God, there other (Hagar) is of unbelief. From one would come the seed of promise (Isaac) from who came the Messiah, and from the other will come the son of perdition – the antichrist.
MBG has ruled the world since the fall of Adam; she has controlled governments and commerce and all aspects of the rule of man since the fall of Adam, and she is about to fall…when the wicked and the unbelieving and the unrepented/unregenerated Godless are to be removed. MBG is the rule of man in the spirit of unbelief.
The Church goes through the Great Tribulation for good reason. The Great Tribulation is not for all for punishment as some believe that that is all the Great Tribulation is about, but concerning the elect it is for the purpose of refinement, for purity and and for beautification.
Please let me explain…
This perhaps the biggest reason I believe that the church will go through the Great Tribulation….
A little background truth to understand first, and this must be understood, before I get to what led me to the conclusion.
Please consider 1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
…But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
James 1:14
…but how do desires get corrupted?
It starts early in life before one becomes transformed into the image of Christ, before one is born again by the Spirit of God.
I believe the origin of temptation comes from satan/demons (began at Garden of Eden). I also believe that they can only tempt through the veil of our flesh by warring with the mind.
What is the sinful nature? The sinful nature of man is not what some think it is. Here is what it is…
These satans/demons absolutely know the will of God, and before a person becomes a believer, they draw people to sin against the will of God starting very early in life before repentance…through the flesh, by warring with the mind of the individual…by bringing a man into captivity to the lusts of the flesh before the mind is regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
These evil beasts war against all believers this way – through the veil of the flesh that we are housed in. These demons start their work early in a person’s life, before they come to Christ, and try and form a person into their own image…and this is their war with and against the God of heaven, our Creator.
Therefore it is written to us who are to be the heirs of salvation:
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,(consider Hebrews 12:4) but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:11-13
We also must be aware/mindful of where and what these demons/satans will tempt us (target our minds), so that we may not be ignorant of their devices and be able to fight the good fight of faith. They primarily target and draw a person to do these:
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21 James 4:7
Further it is written, that we are to be on the look out for this:
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8
Now here is a very interesting point to make and is necessary to understand why the Church goes through the Great Tribulation:
If satan/demons were bound and removed from influencing and harassing us (the Bride) in our earthly lives, would there be any temptation to sin? – I would say probably not…NO TEMPTER = NO SIN (think about that one)…but the mind still has to be renewed after Christ nonetheless.
I have always believed that satan/demons need to get permission from God first before he can tempt or even harass a saint to sin (I am reminded of the story of Job, how that satan had to get permission first, and he did this by accusing Job before God – Job 1:6-12 )…he does this to us, the heirs of salvation by accusing us constantly day and night before God, even as it written.
So what happens when satan no longer gets to accuse us day and night before God?
…so if he can no longer accuse us day and night before God, and he doesn’t get permission to tempt us to any kind of sin, what do you think will happen on the earth when the work of the Holy Spirit is unfettered from satanic hinderance in our lives? GLOBAL REVIVAL!!! (the number which no man could number)…After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, …Revelation 7:9
This is what will happen on earth, and why I believe that a “Great Revival” is coming to the earth during the “Great Tribulation”
– Ephesians 6:12 will end for us, and it will end for us…and here’s why:
And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. Rev 12:7-10 (meaning he does not get permission to accuse/tempt/harass anymore)
No accuser standing before God day and night accusing us before God means: no permission is granted to tempt a saint to sin again, or to spiritually fight against, or to harass a saint in there work, which means there will be a global revival on the earth unfettered from any satanic hindrances!!! There will be no more wrestling in the spirit with satan and his demons in high places…their day will finally be at an end! Then there will be a revival on the Earth such as never occurred before unto this time, as the Bride of the Lamb will finally be able to get herself ready.
Consider the voice of the holy angel, what he said, when satan is cast out:
Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
“Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come,
for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
What this means is the Bride of the Lamb will finally be able to get herself ready without any spiritual hindrance, without any temptation to sin, without any accuser standing before God – she will get her wedding garments ready and be holy, and without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, she will have righteous works – even as it is written that she should. I will add that the Holy Spirit will be poured out as never before.
But since satan can no longer tempt and accuse, because he is thrown down to the earth with his angels, he persecutes the Bride…as her saints and her prophets are sent to martyrdom at the very hands of those whose names are not written down in the Lamb’s book of life.
…but the Lord is with them in their hour of trial, and the strength of the Holy Spirit sustains them, and fills them with a great supernatural calm, peace and comfort…there will be no fear of dying for the saints, as the Holy Spirit will sustain them.
These saints overcome satan and his antichrist by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they love not their lives unto death.
Nazi style holocausts will return to the earth; this time globally, even as it written, as Christians are summarily put to their deaths in the camps, just as the Jews were during WWII.
It is all that satan has left.
During this time of unprecedented revival and purification of the Bride of the Lamb, and during a time of unprecedented persecution and mass murder of Christian saints, and in the midst of all the global chaos that will be going on during the Great Tribulation, there will be a an unprecedented move of the Spirit of God in the chosen elect, …such as has not been seen to this day…So powerful and mighty will be this move of the Holy Spirit – for God shall pour out the undiluted strength of His Holy Spirit, and in the power of His strength will He will purify her, and beautify the Bride of the Lamb, that her gown may be white, that she may be holy and pure – without spot or blemish, or any such thing…her gown will be white….many will turn to the Lord during this time in this global revival, and will do so without any accuser accusing them before God day and night!
This is why I believe that the church will go through the great refiners fire of the “Great Tribulation”. There will be a “Great Revival” in the chosen elect and of the truth, and the complete destruction of satanic rule and unbelieving mankind during this time.

I want to present the following as only a possible scenario of what may come to pass. It is not my intension to add or take away from the Book of Revelation, but only to show a possible scenario of what may take place during the Great Tribulation.
It may not happen in the exact order in which I have written it…it will most probably be a lot worse; but I want us to be ready to face the reality of it. I truly believe the time of the Great Tribulation is upon us, and I want us to see the possibility of something like this coming to pass. Further, I am writing this because I want us, as Christians, to be sober-minded, vigilant, and looking forward to and hasting unto the day and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I feel as sense of urgency and a leading of the Holy Spirit, that the time is short. It is time for ones sitting on the fence to sit up and take notice – to wake up to what is coming and to get ready.
A possible scenario for us to consider…of what the Great Tribulation may look like:
2009 – 2012 may bring many changes. Sometime during this time frame, the covenant with many, as spoken about in the book of Daniel may come to pass. Perhaps it will only be a short time now, since Americans had elected a new President, that the agenda of the New World Order begins to take shape globally.
The Middle East:
Concerning the present landscape in the Middle East and in looking forward into the future, the current conflict between Israel and the Palestinians may spread beyond Israel’s borders: This war may spread beyond Gaza and into Syria (in which Damascus would surely fall – Isaiah 17), into Lebanon where Hezbollah has re-armed, and even possibly into Iran the chief instigator of conflict in the Middle East.
Consider that the world is presently in an Global Economic Meltdown, A world government is being formed as is a supranational currency. A Great Depression not seen since time began has begun. Consider a war in the Middle East that involves Iran and Saudi Arabia, and throw on top of this a World Wide oil shortage of unprecedented proportions…and well…
….if this happens, this conflict could go global into a full blown World War (WW3)…especially if the U.S. gets hit with another terrorist attack like a nuclear weapon.
…I am not sure how things are going to play out ion the Middle East, here is one scenario:
…Peace talks with Israel, Hamas and Israel’s neighbors reach a détente, and peace accord will be signed in Jerusalem, dividing the land of Israel between the Jews and Palestinians. A certain man, possibly of Middle Eastern descent or ancestry, rises as peacemaker and mediator between Jew and Muslim, who Muslims will listen to. Israel gains control of the Temple mount in a peace for land deal, that allows the establishment of the State of Palestine…and reconstruction of the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount begins.

Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.” Daniel 9:27
Israel has peace for the first 3-1/2 years of the seven year covenant…but after 3-1/2 years the covenant is broken, and the abomination that causes desolation is setup. Israel is invaded as per Ezekiel 38-39, in which the Gentiles will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months (3-1/2 years) as per Revelation 11:2. and the Antichrist, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 2 Thessalonians 2:4
During the Great Tribulation there will be absolute worldwide destruction and chaos…as Babylon the Great is Destroyed!
The day is before us…the day in which Babylon the Great will fall (that is to say the rule and dominion of sinful man on earth).

The USA and the Rest of the World:
Bill H. R. 645 is passed unanimously, and becomes law. This law directs the Director of Homeland Security to establish national emergency centers on military installations…commonly known as FEMA reception centers.
The global economy had finally and totally collapsed into utter chaos, and with it the entire world is plunged into a darkness deeper than night, and into the grips of a Great Depression not seen since the beginning of time. And with a world wide shortage of crude oil, there is little or no fuel for transport trucks, cars, jets, ocean liners, or any kind of transport…which means little food will be delivered to grocery stores or any other goods and services for that matter.
Civil disorder, rioting, looting, hoarding and panic erupts in every city across the globe, leading to the declaration of martial law in many countries. Militaries are called in to quell civil unrest, and riot police in full battle gear engage civilians in every city to disperse the hungry, homeless and rioting masses.
In America, the President goes on prime-time television to address the nation. With both hands raised in the air, he urges calm in the midst of chaos. With a stern face, he urges submission to the authorities, and compliance to the “Declaration of Martial Law”…saying: “do not leave your homes”, and “do not to give into our common enemies” and, that “this crisis will soon pass”, and promising humanitarian aid to the starving masses, little or no aid arrives. As time passes, more civilian-police clashes occur, and even more are detained.
It gets worse…
Civil disorder, hoarding, rioting and looting begins in earnest, in every city…as people are homeless, starving and suffering. Many have lost their homes and possessions due to the mortgage/credit crisis. Massive hyperinflation kicks in, and Congress calls an emergency session to deal with and to mitigate the fallout of a terrible and great depression. Congress bans hoarding and the black market under threat of imprisonment; anyone caught would be immediately incarcerated and sent to a FEMA detention center where they will be processed and punished.
Gangs of civil rioters roam the streets, looting businesses, and looting of peoples homes for food. These continue to break out all over…as gangs of rioters’ loot, rape, murder and pillage.
The riots get severe and violent – Police and Military Forces use tear-gas, rubber bullets and concussion grenades to disperse the angry rioting crowds. The military brings in microwave crowd dispersion units, tanks and armored personnel carriers, and begin to patrol city streets to enforce the Declaration of Martial Law.
More protests erupt against the police and the military, because of the brutality in which they enforce Martial Law. This leads to limited armed combat between armed civilians and the military. Police immediately arrest all the dissenters, who are then taken away to unknown locations. High schools and civic centers are flooded with the dead, the dying and wounded.
Many people are caught out on the streets after curfew, and are forced into FEMA centers, as the military takes over complete control of all civil authority, with the full authorization of congress and of the President.
People at home are ordered to stay inside for an indefinite periods of time during civil armed conflicts, many of them missing loved ones, who may have been detained on the streets while looking for food and supplies, or taken into camps to some discreet unknown location.
Strict curfews are put into affect, as the nations streets quickly turn into ghost towns. The reality of another American Civil War has now been realized…
America is at War…not with another nation, but with its own hungry people… in particular those who speak against and who oppose the President, his cabinet, house, and senate and their New World Order policies.
Some Christian groups consolidate, who become very vocal, and form a third national party to oppose the President, and offer an alternative to the Republicans and Democrats. This movement begins to take root nationally, but is soon thoroughly defeated by the powers that be…this will be viewed as civil insurrection in ALL Mass Media…because of all the chaos that will exist at the time.
It gets worse…
Dissent grows and opposition to the President is voiced, but especially among Christians who oppose this Presidents Anti-Christian policies, and the New World Order that he and other World Leaders represents.
…But it is not the Christians who are violent, who riot and loot and commit terrible and heinous crimes. Nevertheless, Christians will be blamed for everything that has gone wrong in the world, for all the civil unrest, and for all the economic chaos, and for all the woes that have come on the world. It will become a very difficult and hard time for a Christian during this time…brother shall betray brother; children shall betray their parents, and parents their children and the love of many will grow cold.
Christians are now called the dissenters, and persecution begins against them in earnest. Christian churches are burned in every city, and Christians will be killed. Christians are forced to leave the cities, or go underground and meet in secret places. FEMA pastors tell Christians to go to the FEMA centers for their own protection…the ultimate betrayal for which they will give an account. These are but just the beginning of sorrows that are to come…

The Tribulation of the Saints and the Destruction of Babylon the Great –
A nuclear terrorist strike hits from out of nowhere, leaving hundreds of thousands dead or dying in the streets. Retaliation begins in earnest against those believed to be the perpetrators.
In no time at all, battles are being fought over the skies of America, the sky rains down missiles, bombs, and unknown weapons of mass destruction. More land is destroyed, and even more people die. Yet the end is not yet…nuclear war has begun, and several American cities are struck with nuclear terror. Cities are destroyed as are rural lands, and radiation clouds fill the skies. The air becomes poisonous to breathe and the water toxic to drink. America collapses and merges with Canada and Mexico in a common union…under the rule of the President of the US. This World War ends quickly, but billions the world over have perished in the blink of an eye.
…but the end is not yet.
From the ashes of WW3, arises a new world political and economic order; the purpose of the World War was only to consolidate power globally, in the hands of a very select few, into a one world economic global totalitarian system of rule; all compliments of the global elite. They, the international bankers and intellectual elite of the world, want to consolidate their assets under one roof so to speak. They will give their power to one man, who will lead the world, and they give all of their resources to him…the same one who made “the covenant with many” in Israel. He is the Antichrist. “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world.”
Their global reign of terror begins. They begin their satanic reign of terror by getting rid of the ones whom they call the dissenters first…the Christians. The Antichrist will cause all people to receive a mark on their right hand or forehead, and those who will not receive the mark, will be summarily put to death…the Nazi death camps will return, only this time it will be Christians murdered. This is how the Antichrist finds the Christians, he uses the bible and the book of Revelation against them, because he knows they will never take the mark…he is evil incarnate.
Those Christians that have survived the nuclear war, who have seen rivers of blood, who have endured incessant pain and terror, are now faced with state sponsored persecution and roundups on a global scale, and in the Nazi stye death camps… they will be martyred.
Police vans and buses drive through neighborhoods, and police speak though loud speakers ordering people out of their homes: ” THIS IS THE POLICE, YOU MUST VACATE YOUR PREMISIS, THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, YOU MUST COMPLY, DISOBEDIENCE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL BE PUNISHED” They begin marking the population with the mark of the beast, just like the marking of cattle for ownership.
Mass house raids are made into people’s homes suspected of being Christian dissenters; kicking doors down, grabbing hold of the Christian dissenters…they check each and every house, one by one, and in every city…to check who has, and who does not have the mark. – Christian men, women and children are hustled out of their homes, regardless of their physical condition. Entire families are rounded up, and told that they are to be re-housed in temporary cities…
…In thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of concentration camps all over the world, countless millions of Christians sit in crowded cold places, shaken with terror, cold, hungry, thirsty, stripped of their freedom, possessions and dignity…but the Lord is with them in their hour of trial, and the strength of the Holy Spirit fills and sustains them and fills them with comfort and great joy, and with the comfort of the love of God. They overcome the Antichrist by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they love not their lives unto death. The Nazi style holocausts return globally, as Christians are summarily put to their deaths. It is satan’s war against God and against His Kingdom and against His elect.
During the time of unprecedented persecution against Christians, and in the midst of global chaos, there will be a revival and a move of the Spirit of God, …such as has not been seen to this day, no not even in the beginning…for God shall pour out of His Holy Spirit upon the Body of Christ …to strengthen and purify/beautify the Bride of the Lamb, that she may be pure and holy – and without spot or blemish, or any such thing…and her gown shall be as white as snow….many will turn to the Lord during this time in a global revival.
The Prophet Daniel said… but the people that know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. And they that are wise among the people shall instruct many; yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, many days…
…And some of them that are wise shall fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed. And the king [Antichrist] shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods; and he shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished; for that which is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the gods of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall magnify himself above all. …And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High.
…small groups of Christians survive, some have even fled into the wilderness into encampments and help each other. Helicopter raids are made to locate these last of the free Christians, to route them out; local police search every household over again, and again, until they have routed out all dissenters (Christians).
Any form of money, gold, or silver will all be worthless, because you cannot buy or sell anything unless you have the mark of the beast. And those who have the mark of the beast will gladly turn the Christians dissenters in to the authorities at every opportunity they can when they try and buy or sell anything. Those who receive the mark of the beast are likewise filled with the spirit of satan and his angels, and they hate the Bride and shall cause her to be put to death.
Many Christians still in their homes, hiding in their basements or hidden under floorboards, are rounded up with terrible violence. They are treated inhumanly, teased, taunted and humiliated.
They are punched in the face as they are led away to their deaths, beaten and spat upon by those haters of God…Some saints even executed right on the spot, right in the streets, in broad daylight for all to see.

Satan and his Antichrist shall rage: (And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.) Daniel 7:25
Many elect saints roam around in the wilderness, with nothing on them, no food and no water to drink; they have nowhere to go; time is there enemy. They are starved, thirsty and cold; many just cannot cope anymore with the trauma that they are made to endure, and just give themselves up and let themselves be captured; the weather does not help their condition either. Yet they are driven on by the Spirit of God to persevere in the face of such constant adversity, and in the Spirit of God they shall prevail. They lift up their eyes to heaven and worship God, and they love not their lives unto death.
In the terrible days of the Great Tribulation, God will give power to His two witnesses, and they shall testify/prophecy for one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth, even as it is written concerning them in the book of Revelation, concerning the Glory of God and the Power His Christ.
“These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.” (Rev 11:6)
Weird and strange weather phenomenon begins to show up globally, and the weather continues to deteriorate – rains fall and flood many lands, then snows fall, blizzards pound, and in other places on the Earth, drought, famine and plague prevail.
Massive earthquakes rip the Earth apart and super-volcanoes erupt… Supernatural and unheard of events occur globally, as God curses those on the Earth who take the mark of the beast, and are cursed by those two witnesses…so terrible will be this time.

During this time, the Lord Jesus stands His saints, as they wash their garments in the blood of the lamb, as they ready and prepare themselves, as they leave all their sins behind, which seems to fall off like scales from their eyes, as their eyes are opened, and the love of God fills their hearts. All worldliness, all lust and covetousness, all idolatry, all sins of divers manner fall away from them, as they purify themselves in the blood of the Lamb and in true holiness, as they repent of their sins and are purified in the Holy Spirit and the love of God. They are made as white as snow…for the Bride makes herself ready. Such is the unfettered work of the Holy Spirit in them; it is God in them that purifies them so.
The very reason that Christ came into the world was so that He could free us from sin and the consequences of sin, and more then that, so that we could become a new creation in Christ Jesus. Sin is of the unregenerated flesh; the flesh “that is the wants of the body” does not seek the things of God, we are to bring it under subjection and crucify the flesh and its desires with the Spirit of God, even as it written.
The Holy Spirit fills every christian who will no longer desire the sins and lusts of the flesh. This is not an outward work in the flesh, but an inward work (that God does) of the heart when a person repents and turns to Christ. It is God who circumcises the heart of every believer…
Holiness means to be like God, and those that are born of Him will do by nature the things of God because He is within them by His Holy Spirit, to whom they yield themselves to obedience in all things. They crucify the flesh and die to themselves daily…constantly thirsting and hungering after the things of God to do them, putting off the old man with his deeds, and putting on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him. It is a work of love that they take pleasure in what they do; it is a work of love and not of compulsion.
During Great and Severe Tribulation and Trial, such as the world has never seen, God grants them repentance, and remembers them according to His mercy; He forgives them for all their sins and for their backsliding, and remembers them no more; He washes them in the Blood of the Lamb so that they will be clean. God allows the the foundation of repentance, and allows a broken and contrite and humble spirit within them…so that they may repent, so that they may return to the God of their salvation fully, with a pure heart, and with clean and undefiled and holy hands. …They overcome the Antichrist and his mark by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they love not their lives unto death.
They pray “Grant to us, oh Lord, the gift of your Holy Spirit, and purify us from the world, through Jesus Christ our Lord – Amen.”
God gives grace to the humble, and is near to those who are of a broken and contrite spirit before him. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you…
…And because of starvation, dehydration, no shelter, severe climatic changes, massive earthquakes, floods, blizzards, hurricanes, extreme cold, extreme heat, separation anxiety (loved ones missing), demoralization, nuclear war and persecution, the morale of many survivors falls even lower (but the Lord is with them in their trial ); more are captured or give themselves up…and those who receive not the mark of the beast are summarily put to their deaths, even as it is written.
Some die in the painful colds of the camps awaiting their execution, either from starvation or exposure to the elements. Blessed and holy are those who have the victory over the beast, over his image, and over his mark and over the number of his name. Blessed and holy are those who overcome him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, who love not their lives unto death.
Those Christians that survive and remain to the end, until the Lord comes, have learned to work together, to love each other, to help and care for each other in true brotherly love, and have learned to trust and love God who preserves them, and keeps them from the hour of trial…these are full of faith; full of the Holy Spirit, and their works are good…these are full the joy, love and the comfort that the Holy Spirit gives to them.
And then … as fast as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west, the Lord Jesus Himself descends from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
Then comes the wrath of God on the unbelieving world as they suffer the vengeance and pure Wrath of God. The God of god’s stands to His feet, and the heavens and the earth are violently shaken…Then comes the vengeance of God upon those who murdered His saints, upon those who took the mark of the beast, upon satan and his fallen angels. And who shall not fear before the God of heaven? …for the great and terrible day of the Lord has come! ..and His fury and fierce wrath has come up before Him, against those who brought destruction to the Earth.

And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

The Great Tribulation must come, even as it written that it should. Each day, we see this time known as the “Great Tribulation” drawing closer and closer…the day is even at hand. I know this is going to be a terrible time for the Earth, but I am grateful that my eyes shall witness the coming of the Lord Jesus. We are to be of good courage, and not faint, and we shall inherit a crown of life. God bless Israel and the Jews, from whom came the Holy Scriptures, which has made us wise to salvation which is in Jesus.

I like what David Wilkerson has to say:
There is simply no possible, failsafe way to prepare for what’s coming.
Of course, God will prepare His people concerning what to do, how to act wisely, and how to lay aside what is needed. But that should never be the focus of Christ’s Bride.
I assure you, if you’re making spiritual preparations – getting your heart in order, dealing with sin, calling on the Lord with greater intensity, trusting in His word, building up your faith – then your readying yourself for anything.
You’ll be able to face a depression, losses and privations, calamities all around. You’ll be ready for all troubled waters, floods, fiery furnaces, persecutions, crop failures, droughts, shortages, sicknesses. But most of all, you’ll be ready to hear the trumpet of God in the last hour. You’ll be prepared to march into the wedding feast to be untied with Christ…
…I believe the covenant that God has made with us holds the secret to perfect peace, no matter what storm may come.

On or about September 12, 2009 I had this dream/vision:
There was this grand old mansion that had seven floors. I was made to reside in this place, to live there. This grand old house was in disrepair and falling apart everywhere. As I visited all the floors in this house, and visited the different rooms, it had occurred to me that this place must have been very, very beautiful to behold at one time…but it was dirty now, and falling apart.
People were living in various parts of this falling down rickety old house, but the Lord directed a certain of them to a certain wing in which they would be safe from the falling in parts of this house.
I myself am a carpenter and a Construction Engineering Technologist (diploma) in real life. In the dream I got to go and visit the various places where people had attempted repairs to this grand old structure.
It seemed that there was an extensive amount of repairing going on, but those doing the repairing of this building were not skilled enough to do the massive amount of structural and building envelope repairs needed…and these repairs they did were about to collapse in on them (The Lord says: except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it.).
The Lord impressed upon me that if I dwell in this house where He instructs me to, that I will be safe from the coming collapse. ( I assume the Lord is about to do a work)
This building was a grand structure in its beginning, bigger and more beautiful than any that had been built to that day, and it is about to undergo some major changes, so that its latter end will be greater than its beginning.
…from the remnants of the ruins it shall rise, more beautiful and with such a glorious splendor that words can only merely describe but not articulate it to its depth of what it shall become.
Most of this grand old building is about to be demolished and collapsed in on itself except the core part (remnant) of which I told you about, that if I dwell there I will be safe; for all that can be shaken will be shaken when the wrecking ball begins.
And so it begins.
I believe this work where the Lord said: “I will do a new thing” is: He is about to rebuild his church (the body of Christ) from the ground up…from the remnants of the ruins which must come first. (great falling away?)
Events on Earth are soon to take place that are going to cause the Bride to finally come together, and it will be the Lord’s doing that does it. Denominational barriers are going to come crashing down as Christians begin to find common ground and begin to pull together in a global revival…
To some, men’s hearts will fail them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
In the midst of the coming global chaos and great tribulation, there will be a revival and a move of the Spirit of God, such as has not been seen to this day, no not even in the beginning…for God shall pour out of His Holy Spirit upon the Body of Christ to strengthen and purify/beautify the Bride of the Lamb…that she may be pure and holy – and without spot or blemish, or any such thing, and her gown shall be as white as snow…many will turn to the Lord during this time in a global revival.
The Lord Jesus is going to send skilled labor into the field…His carpenters and engineers etc., of which He Himself is the Chief building engineer. This structure that is going to go up will be built according to His specifications and design, and no one will be allowed to deviate with their own ideas and repairs, but will follow only His design. The latter end of this house will be greater than the former.
…it’s coming, it’s coming quickly.
