My highest for His glory!

Posted by appolus on April 10, 2018

Excerpt from an upcoming book “My highest for His glory.”………….

Midweek (June week 2)

Isa 62-6-7 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who will not always be silent all the day nor all the night; you who remember Jehovah, do not be silent. And give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Brothers and sisters, this is God’s word to us in this day. Do not remain silent even although you may have suffered much for your stand. Continue to come before the Lord and give Him no rest until He establishes and brings to pass His will in His people. God has commanded that we give Him no peace. He has encouraged us to keep coming to Him and praying for the Church, even although as we survey the land we see great desolation. Can I tell you today that God has given us great promises for His own, He says it, so it shall come to pass, that her righteousness shall go forth as brightness and her salvation will be as a lamp that burns. He tells us that we have a crown of glory and that we shall be as a royal diadem in His hand. When the world looks at the church they shall no longer mock or laugh derisively.

Now, they may hate us and come against us with a great fury, but we shall not be ignored because the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon us. The world will see a people who the Lord delights in and that He has called His own. For too long they have seen a body of people who look just as they look, that are no different from them, but the Lord still has a people that are as yet, for the most part, hidden. Yet when He pours out His Spirit upon His people, when He embraces them for all the world to see, then they shall see a people, a bride, ready to receive her Bridegroom.

And so brothers and sisters. Do not remain silent. Speak to what burns in your bones. The Lord says to you to go through the gates. God is throwing open the gates of Babylon, the gates of the world, and calling His people out. Do not be afraid, come out of her, go through the gates and leave Babylon behind. Others will follow but first there must be a remnant that leads. Prior to the Lord Jesus coming the first time, John the Baptist took His place in the wilderness and He prepared the way of the Lord. There was a work of repentance in the land prior to the Lord Jesus coming. As it was then, so it is now. John rejoiced to see the Lord coming and proclaimed “Behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world.”

And so we have been called to prepare a highway. We have been told to “build up the highway……. take out the stones,” and I love this part “lift up a banner for the peoples.” Brothers and sisters, our salvation is coming. Jesus is coming again in all of His glory and He has His reward in His hand. He has sent before Him a holy people, a people redeemed of the Lord to carry out this work and the Lord says to you today that you have not been forsaken and that He is coming for His Bride, remain faithful and true to your calling and where He leads you must follow. Go through the gates today brothers and sisters. Do not look back, lift up your eyes for your salvation draws nigh.

Good brother Frank. It is beyond good, it is excellent. The statement where you said, “when the people of the world looks at Christians, they see a people just like themselves, they can,t tell the difference.” That sums up the entire problem in todays Christian community, the Christians, look, act, and talk just like the rest of the world. But as you went on to say, there is going to be a change in the way Christians speak, and conduct themselves. The church is getting ready to receive her Bridegroom. There is a change coming, a change we can believe in. Even so come quickly Lord Jesus.

You and I have conversed here and there … we share a heart for Jesus and His compassion … God’s mercy and call to lost souls before it is too late. I am in a wilderness place … there is a spirit of immorality sweeping over this country… my husband has left me for another woman … he revealed to me he has been living a lie for 6 years in that he has been seeing other women on and off for that length of time. He rejected then betrayed me … then he abandoned me on a farm that only through the power and provision of our Abba Father I made it through the winter. I saw his provision in sending people in His name to encourage and help me. One couple came saying they would not charge me for what they did because “Christ told him to take care of me.”
I am now divorced … something I did not want. Yet I am being drawn closer and closer to my Lord and King … learning more and more to die to myself and my desires. It is like He is feeding me just enough manna to make it through to the next day … I meet with Him and He permeates my spirit with Word … a woman prayed over me saying, “It is not about Him and not about her but that God is birthing something new in you.” I do not know the path that He is now leading me on … I do not know what the future holds but His provision is becoming enough as I die to myself daily picking up my cross. His Holy Spirit said to me, “Pick up Your Cross.” “I will go with you and you will not falter.” He also told me to “prepare to meet The Lord.”
As people found out about my situation I was told about husbands who were doing the same thing … this I know there is an evil spirit of lust creeping into households … not just into men’s lives but women’s also. We must … the born from above true followers of Christ … put on God’s armor and be prepared to fight … to endure all the while realizing the battle and victory is for the Lord’s glory. He is giving me a peace that makes no sense to the world. The shroud that has surrounded me for months now is lifting. I am realizing Jesus Himself was rejected by His own … betrayed by one who ate at His table but never heard the message … then He was abandoned by those He loved dearly. Who are we … who am I to complain … “the servant is not above His Master.”
I have been asked to share my testimony at a small gathering … please pray that the people sitting in those pews will see God draws us into a wilderness place to test our faith and prepare us for what is ahead… those that endure will be saved …. it will be through the blood of the Lamb … the word of their testimony and they will not love their lives onto death. We are all to crucify the self and pick up our cross daily …
Brother Frank … there is a remnant being prepared to shine the light of Christ into an ever darkening world. We must crucify our flesh … the ‘self’ heredity that resides in all of us … to depend on Christ alone … then when He is all we have He will be all we need,

God bless you Rebecca, its a long hard narrow road home and not for the faint of heart. The wilderness is the place that strips everything down, a place of loss and a place of ultimately knowing who we are in the Lord. The hymn says “just give me Jesus.” Life will certainly test us and see if that be true. May the Lord bless you as you testify of His faithfulness, something we can stand upon, something that will never be shaken………………….bro Frank
