Arise for the light has come

We walk by the light of the eternal sun And the power of darkness is forever undone We must rise and shine for all the world to see That the light from up above has set us free The light has come for Christ is in our midst Our gaze is set on Him and we are forever transfixed By the power, by the glory by His unending grace We are penetrated by the light of His all knowing gaze Who can stand when touched by such great light Surely all is possible and everything else is night A place where peace surpasses every understanding A place so holy there is no one that's left standing Those in darkness see the God that has arisen Those held captive are freed from every prison The crushed and the broken are surely all made whole And now to worship God above is their solitary goal. Jesus , Jesus, Jesus is His name And since we came to know Him We have never been the same Let's arise and shine for the victory has been won We're marching on to glory until the race is done.
